Dont know who or how many of you guys are running databases or websites for p2020 but the following was sent from Ermsy to people who bought the purple /20 artist auto on the Williams card.

Hi thanks for your order for the PURPLE Williams. We’ve only just realized that the Purple cards weren’t finished. They weren’t in the correct numbered envelopes, and they didn’t have the hologram stickers applied. Again I’m really sorry about this, so I’m going to send you a new purple auto card, and you can keep the first.

JK5 AP, above ground pools, and Nike stuff. I need to add this seller to my watch list!

What I don’t understand is why you list at that price, 0% chance at $60k is not better than 50% chance of a bite at $1k (I do not have any idea what market price if an AP is; first, I highly doubt they are actually artist proofs. They are really limited parallels [maybe Blake will chime in if I’m wrong], second, there’s nothing about them that is “better” than the base card except more limited number of them).

Edit: I realize they have a silver frame. All my silver frame cards from other releases sit unseen in a box cause they are pretty awkward.

Who actually cares about APs and why???

As I'm "that guy", I figured I'd take a poll of my children in answer to Jopeal's question:

4 yr old son: Oldermanalan
2 yr old daughter: Shore

My 4 yr old DID say however that he thought Older-manalan's last erection card should have been rated PG-6.

Optimistic! One time I had a beat up $3 Griffey Rawlings glove on the bay and I hadn't finalized the listing and someone popped it for 99.99. They left positive FB. IDK either but they are out there.

Yeah, I completely get what they are literally, I just don't understand why there is demand (except that they can't be had). Just wondering if people really WANT them or if they just want profit (someone must WANT them because they do sell on secondary). I just don't "get" it.

I do chase the rare parallels in regular card world, so I get it, I just don't see the appeal of the "AP" especially since it's really not an AP.

Topps Stadium club has foil inserts "photographer's proof" too, but I know that this is not actually a photographer's proof. Just weird to me.
