Highest I’ve gotten is $2100 (Despite higher eBay sales) and I’d be better off selling to BO at less risk than accept that offer. The $700 offer was a ridiculous offer from an experienced eBayer, which was disappointing. On the heels of two selling at close to 2400, how do you send that to a seller and expect any response? Luckily it was auto-declined so I did not have to respond to it. Currently dealing with a buyer that offered 2100 and I countered at 2350, which he let expire. Then, a week later, he sends another offer...2050. I really don’t know what some people are thinking. |

True, but it looks like we are on the same page. You probably have yours listed at the same price as I do, and you are valuing it in the same range as I am. So I’m not worried you’ll accept a lower offer. Hell, you probably declined the same offers from the same buyers.

My auto-reject is higher than yours so I haven’t even countered yet. I get messages every few days about it so I know there’s interest in it (probably the same buyers have reached out to you too). In no way am I in a rush to sell. Best of luck with selling! I might actually end my listing on it soon (I listed a bunch of stuff, including some “touchable” PC items because I needed some extra cash to make some plays but I’m finally getting back to a good point), and that should only give you a little more leverage haha |

I still think these are a long hold with so much upside.

Non-auto Zion 10 gets you $1600+, 9.5 $1k+, worst case scenario $600? Let's say you average a BGS 9.5 since these cards were pretty sharp out of the box, the only thing that varies is centering Zion $1k Ja $500 Lebron $400 Coby $200 Luka $150 That's like $2k+ right there, unless you get real unlucky with centering or print issues. Add in a 1/12 chance at Zion or Ja auto, and I THINK I JUST CONVINCED MYSELF TO OPEN THE REST Last edited by Spacemanspif; 07-08-2020 at 06:47 AM. |

Had a local buyer who offered $2500 cash for a sealed box but kept flaking out on picking up (not sure it's the wisest thing to do given that he sent me a picture of his driver's license).
In any case, turned out to be a blessing. I relisted and received a $2500 and a $2800 eBay offer (different individuals too). I almost pulled the trigger on selling to the latter offer but ultimately decided to end the listing and hold the box a little longer (maybe forever). There just seems to be more interested buyers (demand) than available sealed boxes (supply). Also works out because I wanted to own at least 1 "decent" Zion RC and I can delay that process but keeping the box haha. |

For me, the reason I want to sell is also the reason I want to hold: Zion. We all know he's a beast but I'm concerned if his knees will actually hold up. There's a lot of uncertainty regarding it so it's a pretty risky "hold" play. Because it's a set with other rookies and vets, I'm not worried about making my money back. But if Zion's knees don't hold up, I'll regret not taking advantage of the opportunity to sell, make some decent profit, and pick up some "free" LeBron/Curry cards. Then again, I'll regret selling if Zion's knees do hold up haha. |

I feel ya. I sold because I wanted to put money into some other stuff and clear some space. But I really didn't need to, and now I'm regretting it. These are so much more than Zion. You also have Ja, Clarke, Rui, Bron, Luka....and several other key players still with playoff upside. The numbers available appear to keep dropping. I'm guessing most are either ripping or keeping them stored.

I know there's other rookies/vets in the set but they don't seem to sell for much (although, maybe over time, that'll change for the better). But you're right in that the number of sealed boxes available appears to be dropping so that's a good reason to hold. I suppose I can just tell/convince myself that my stimulus check paid for the set haha. |

I'm about to grade my 3 sets I kept, and my feeling is the majority will score 9.5 or better. For arguments sake, let's say for each player I get 1x 10, 1x 9.5, 1x 9. Here's what I expect as payout, based either on last sale or Holo pricing because they've been pretty much similar as far as I can tell Zion: 2200 / 1100 / 700 = 4000 Ja: 1600 / 800 / 400 = 2800 LeBron: 800 / 400 / 200 = 1400 Coby: 360 / 180 / 90 = 630 RJ: 240 / 120 / 60 = 420 Luka: 400 / 200 / 100 = 700 Rui: 160 / 80 / 40 = 280 Nunn: 160 / 80 / 40 = 280 Giannis: 160 / 80 / 40 = 280 Reddish: 240 / 120 / 60 = 420 Total of those top 10 guys is $11,210, which comes out to $3736 per set. Of course we can't exactly predict the grading distribution or end pricing but I'm pretty confident I'd at least average that, and that my numbers are in the right ballpark. Yes there are grading fees, but there's also 1) upside in better grades than a 1:1:1 ratio, and 2) more guys you can/should grade and 3) scrubs you can sell in lots and make back a few hundred bucks. Also, someone just sold a raw Ja auto for $3000. I never even got an offer that high for my PSA 10 lol, but that had me go push my price up because it was sitting there at $6k BIN OBO for the longest time, and if a raw is $3k my PSA 10 should be worth at least double that. Zion Auto PSA 10 is up on PWCC so we'll see what the implied value of the autos are as well. I think it's fine to sit on it, but I don't think any buyer is going to want to do the math I just laid out and pay you properly. TBH I am going to be ramping up my selling into this hot market, if I can get myself to a point of "free and clear" while holding on to all my blue chips and PC items, I'm not going to have any regrets. I agree with you that not many are willing to do the math and pay one properly. If piecing it out weren't so tedious and time-consuming, I'd consider going that route too. But I'm too lazy haha. Hope you have some awesome sales and let me know what you get to keep for free too. I still have mine (one). A week or two ago, when I had mine listed, I received an offer as high as $2800 via eBay. |

still too low, these are probably never going down. the class would have to completely flame out for them to ever go down.
