Having opened a whole lot of hit parade over the years, it most assuredly is not a "scam product". however, every box can't have a zion or ja in it or they lose $$. I've gotten lots of great auto's across multiple sports, but the best being a Derek Jeter Autograph #'d 1/5.

I have opened a good bit of HIT PARADE and like it somewhat but have never had a monster hit and most are a lot less valuable than they seem even the big hits they promote.
