Myself, and several other Angels fans, can't wait for Pujols to retire. At this point, he's just padding stats while hurting the team.

I feel like he is doing the opposite of padding his stats at this point.

He’s hurting the team more than helping.

If I were an Angels fan like you I would be mad about that. It sucks.

I agree. It's very obvious he is hurting the team. Trust me, I'm mad that he gets so much playing time. He was great but his time has passed. He now hurts the team.

So much truth here! He played himself chasing milestones. .300 career average would be more impressive than his milestones.

I don't see how he's really chasing milestones. He's just playing out the contract that he signed. With baseball contracts being guaranteed you're never going to see someone walk away because he's not as good as he used to be.

And he's made it clear he will play out his contract and wants to play even more after his Angels contract ends. I'm thinking he'll sign a 1 year deal with St Louis after he leaves the Angels

As a St Louisan I'll gladly take him back on a farewell tour as long as they keep the DH in the NL. If I'm him I'd play as long as some team I wanted to play for wanted to pay me
