Ben Baller generic graffiti writing on the "Ben Baller did the card" ruins what is an incredible design. I really like that one by him and it is close to being his best, yet.
Grotesk is on fire but I am personally not buying any of his work.
this was supposed to be an off week for me on buying..

TBP, I feel like you have to work a deal to get the 1/1 Griffey Tears Keith Shore auto. It just seems like it should be yours, and Shore did a great job with the tears and naming it on back haha.

Non-troll question here--it never was clear to me despite the math proposed months ago. How are pre-sellers making money, and if they aren't, what is the incentive to continue?

I'm seeing the least expensive direct option from Topps is $34.99 for two = $17.50 each. This doesn't include shipping and taxes. Looks like Wheeler Collection has individuals for $15.95 with free shipping. Assuming that shipping costs somewhere around $3.25-3.50 between the mailer and postage, I'm seeing somewhere around $12.50 per card realized post-shipping. Even with a generous Credit Card discount (let's say 6%), I'm not seeing the ability to turn a profit on these, unless Topps offers a steep discount for bulk buying that they don't publicly advertise. This doesn't factor in the extremely generous first time buyer discount.

It seemed like in the earlier stages, sellers were viewing their shot at the 1/1, which they'd retain, was the hopeful profit margin. However, now I'm seeing pre-sellers are also including this in the pre-sell. I am merely curious as to where the profit is created.

I was really liking the smaller additions of block color too. Oh well, we'll see, there may be sets within the set. Any Star Wars references will be kept regardless.

Not sure about "best" but I've seen some really nice ones on the Facebook group and @mwheeler has posted some promising looking stuff, too. I will buy one of these in the future or roll my own once I'm a bit more certain which ones I will display and how best to lay them out.

Grotesk, my absolute favorite with my brand new player collection of Ted Williams. I couldn't be happier!

It was probably about three weeks from shipping notice to delivery on my early orders and those were super short print runs.

I just accepted that I'm going to wait a very long time for my cards and stopped worrying about it.

I'm feeling first Shore's Sandy and now Grotesk's Ted channeling the energy of '58 Topps.

That's such an underrated set. That has to have the biggest heads in card history. No card dared to go further up Koufax's nostrils than '58 Topps.

Damn, some nice cards this week. Glad I made the decision to cool it on companions after the Chang Trout. At least for now.

How do I get a hold of the artists to let them know that they need to stop buying up their cards and signing them?
