I'm not sure if everyone is aware of this or not but VUDU has free movies for streaming. You can do this using computers, phones, Rokus, and other streaming devices. They have a pretty good selection of horror movies to watch. I don't know why I never thought of mentioning this before.

Yeah...they have a nice selection...it is with ads, but still cool and they rotate stuff in and out every month.

“Palm Springs” was fantastic, but they owe Benson and Moorehead a writing credit. Either that, or it was part of “The Endless” universe.

Confession time, I consider myself a huge horror buff, but until last night, I had never seen Sleepaway Camp. I knew of it, and that it was a slasher of sorts, but didn't know anything else. Good Lord, that end scene was horrifying. I can only imagine what it was like for viewers in 1983.

Hulu original movie Little Monsters was great if you like your zombie movies with a little comedy. One of the characters is a childrens singer so basically what if one of the Wiggles was stuck in a zombie apocalypse and has a mental breakdown.

We're going to watch "The Relic" tomorrow night.
It supposedly has a "buzzy" ending, so I'm not reading anything about it to avoid spoilers.

It's $5.99 on Amazon Prime Video (also available on Vudu, iTunes, and GooglePlay, but it's $1 more on those.)
We're also going to watch Andy Samberg's "Palm Springs" on Hulu, so that's a pretty good price for a double feature of new movies.

Watched "The Invisible Man" (2020) over the weekend. It was just OK in our opinion. Great opening sequence, entire first half is a great tension-builder. Rest of the movie was OK. Good but rather predictable ending.

Watched "Black Mountain Side" on Prime last night. Pretty f'd up movie that I wouldn't suggest watching. This is more of a warning post. One I do suggest though, on Prime, is "Chopping Mall." It's a fun 80's horror movie

Because it's bad or because of other reasons?

I thought 'The Relic' was a 1997 movie about something killing people in a museum?

This one is just called "Relic" and it's about a woman who disappears from her own home possibly as a result of Alzheimer related dementia. The woman's daughter and granddaughter arrive to the house in hopes of finding her and the story goes from there. It's well-acted with great atmosphere, though perhaps a bit underdeveloped at only 90 minutes. The ending is indeed enigmatic. The whole thing is sort of like a less intense version of "Hereditary".

Say no more, I hated Hereditary so it's a hard pass for me, but thank you for letting me know so I didn't waste my time watching it.
