That reminds me of a question I’ve had: what if a consistent artist derived radically from their method/formula on card 20? Disappointing, sad, shocked, amused or ?

Here's what I still have incoming. I have a tendency to buy a bunch in a row and then convince myself I need to be more selective & end up missing some releases and regretting it. I really wish I would have picked up the Gooden, Ryan & Ichiro Grotesk cards & the Jeter Ermsy, but I guess you cant have them all. Maybe I'll grab them later down the line. I was initially sticking with Topps for that slim chance I'd hit the 1/1, but finally gave up on that.

I like his cards a lot, his art, not so much. He is like a risque Piet "Parra", but not as good (subjectively to me). It's a case where the project has lifted up an artist's work (for my tastes). It's been so interesting; I've had artists I liked so much before this who I think struggle with this application/medium, those who I didn't like so much really thrive, and then those who I largely feel the same about one way or the other. Some were easier to predict, some surprised me.

Best amateur submission wins a custom 1/1 Mattingly piece from the artist! More people would buy a few just to try out their skills. Thus increasing the print run. More money in the pocket of the artist.
