10 day now out to 5-7 weeks, and 30 day out to 18 weeks.

Looks like our cards are going to be spending a lot of time in the repository!

On top of them raising their prices significantly. What an absolute dumpster fire.

Hi all,

Looking for some answers to a couple of questions that I have. Asking because I made my first BGS submission yesterday. Sent in 2-Day BGS Sub.

1. I do not have an account number due to it being my first time. Will I get my account number when BGS receives it or does it take some time? Asking because I would like to know what the card has graded before I get it back. Can anyone explain the process to me of having BGS have to give new subbers a account number?

2. The card I sent in was a The Cup Hockey RPA (super thick card - about 190 point or so)... for obvious reasons, I was not able to use a card saver and sent it in a one touch with lots of bubble wrap and padding. Will they accept the card in a one touch?

3. Inside of the box I included my BGS Submission Order form. As well, I included a personal check for payment... did I do this the correct way?

1. Yes you should get an email from them that will likely have a new account number. You might also want to go to Beckett's website and register an account there beforehand and your order will likely show up in the My BGS Orders section of Grading.
2. They should.
3. Yes,you should be all set.

I'd like my card grade to be a surprise for when I open the box....does BGS email you the card's grade? If so, which email is that so I don't read it.

I sent my BGS order with overnight shipping and signature confirmation. I just received notice, via tracking, that the package I sent to BGS is "Available for Pickup."

Anybody else have this in the past? I assume the USPS driver just takes all the packages into BGS and one employee would sign for all of them. So does BGS now have to drive to a nearby post office to pickup packages?

I got my confirmation email 4/30. Just got logged yesterday. So you may be closer than you think. Another post had their email 4/29 and logged a day before me. So seems somewhat consistent atm.

Yeah, they always pick up from the P.O. in my experience.

I would prob not....my April, 30-day order got done, start to finish in just under 2 months. Mid April to mid June. Wasnt expecting it that quickly.

This is my first large submission. I did get confirmation that if you created your order before the price increases, they will honor the original price that was quoted on the invoice. I was concerned because the price increase happened between the time I placed/they received the order and the actual "received" email. Credit card has not been charged so hopefully they are holding off on charging the 30 day subs closer to when they will actually be graded since it is such a delay.
