Finally achieved lvl 40 status a couple weeks ago. What a grind. I cant believe some of you did this before the friendship update. Also hatched a perfect IV galarian meowth. Really would like a decent KISS zigzagoon.

Glad I had a little stockpile of coins so I can finish the win 15 raid quest. Really hope they roll out the new coin system for us soon.

Is anyone going to buy the event pass for go fest? With it being remote and not having to travel, I went ahead and bought it. I think it will be fun, we will see what kind of cool stuff is available on those days. I wouldnt be surprised if they sell more passes than ever.

IM debating. I work 9-6 on Saturday so I wont really be able to enjoy it, so $15 for just sunday is kinda steep.

I'm happy this forum has a thread for this since I play it all the time!

I've had a couple lucky days so will post about that now.

I caught another shiny Diglett after I traded one to my aunt's girlfriend. That trade was my shiny Dugtrio for her Giratina (she always gets all the legendaries in raids while I'm a noob) and it was a lucky trade so that is cool. Sadly they are 3*s but not any stat maxed.

My OCD doesn't like that! It really is a slap in the face...

I finally got my shiny precious! I caught a shiny Swablu a week ago or so. Altaria is my second favorite Pokemon so I was so thrilled to get it but sadly she is weak both CP/IV wise. I still love my baby and will max her once I evolve her later on.

As for Weedle Community Day I slacked off and only did it for the last 3 hours. I went to my local park and caught 4 there. Then went to the mall with my brother and caught 2 more. Thankfully those two were 3*s (with a max stat..) so I evolved them. Shiny Beedrill looks pretty cool so I'm happy.

I should note that I hatched a shiny Alolan Grimer while at the park too! It barely looks shiny which is annoying so hopefully that changes when I evolve it later on.

Oh and on the way back from the mall I caught my second shiny Solrock! It is much stronger CP wise but still only like 2/3*s.

So, I played the Clefairy hour for the first time since the first pokemon tuesday. I was quickly reminded why.

I used 3 Phones and my girlfriend played for the entire hour. I caught, 101 Clefairy on 1 phone, checked probably 120+ each on the other 3 accounts.

We walked away with 1 shiny. I know the odds were around the 1:450 as usual, but just a disappointment and reminded my why I dont actively play much like I used to.


Now, ill take my soapbox back, and give my thoughts on a crazy idea that would NEVER happen.


Rumors are coming around again they will raise the level cap to 50. I have been against this, as someone who grinded hard to hit 40 (hit back on October, 2017) I have since not cared about exp. I have over 120 lucky eggs just rotting inventory space. So, if they give "Free levels" to guys like Dooby or Chris I would be mad (yea you deserve them because you still grinded) but doesn't seem fair, or fun if you woke up and it said congrats, lvl 50.

Its also not fair, to start over and have them lose that 50m or 100m exp they have gained for nothing.

I would love them to do this-
Everyone starts Fresh at lvl 40 going into lvl 41.
For every Million EXP over 40 you had, they give you 1 "Poke Voucher" redeemable in the shop for-
1 Voucher- Common Starter Pokemon from your choice of Gen
2 Vouchers- Third Form Starter from any Gen
3 Vouchers- Random Legendary Pokemon
5 Vouchers- Random Region Specific Pokemon (Any Region possible, except yours)
10 Vouchers- Guaranteed Shiny from a Gen you pick.
25 Vouchers- Guaranteed Shiny Legendary
25 Vouchers- Elite TM

This way you still get rewarded for your exp you have earned. Gives you a shot at Shines if thats your chase, Elite tms to make your PVP squad, or help finish off the Pokedex and get that Relicanth or whatever you may need.

Yeah shiny Clefairy hour was a total bust and I now hate that little b*tch.

I've always been #TeamJigglypuff anyways....

Jigglypuff really f*cked those Clefairy up in the anime LOL. She is not the one.

On a brighter note I just caught a shiny Nincada due to the special incense event happening for it today and tomorrow. Might try again for another shiny Nincada later on but if not I'm happy I at least got one, and many standard ones for candies.

I opened a card/vintage apparel shop in February and then had to close in March/April. I was playing Pokemon Go to get some pokeballs for me and the baby to play tonight when we get home and there was a sponsored gift. When you open it you can nominate a business to get some free marketing.

I have a pokestop that you can spin from inside my store and I'm stocking pokemon cards so this could be extremely helpful for my shop.
