I have issues once in a while, but I rarely complain about them, and to this point, I have NEVER returned a single card to Topps. I was very close to returning the following card though:

It has several issues:

- A large paper chip towards the upper right-hand corner.

- Auto that went off the card

- Both bottom corners are bent up.

Clearly this is an example of one you'd want to return. I just hate to spend time repacking it up and waiting for a replacement that who knows if I'll ever get with a card like this.

I do believe it happens, just hasn’t happened to me...I mean yes a corner touch here or there but nothing to that extent. I would return it for sure...

The /25s were not cheap. May be a pain to return but you don’t want to be haunted by the condition if you keep it.
IMHO,

Replace it, unacceptable. I'm sure a plat could get Jeeves on this.

But how would they fix this? They wouldn’t remake the card, would they?

Would they send me something of “equal value”? I might lose sleep over that thought.

The simple fact that it was sent to you like that is pure bullsheet. I dont care if it cost 5 bucks or 5000. Topps have any pride in their product?

I have sent back autos with less damage- my pujols had a small edge tear that was hard to see but once you did you couldn't unsee. That one is still at Topps (I assume they are grading it)- it was too high of cost for me to settle for a 7 or 7.5.

My Pujols auto from last year had an issue. I emailed Jeeves. They sent me a FedEx return label. Sent the card back in. They remade the card and had him resign. Got it back two months later.

They finally got back to me and said they would replace it. So waiting on them to send me shipping label.
I am not sure if I have to wait 10 more months for him to sign, or will they send me one from a cancellation order when they offered refunds?

Most recent favorite card. Been wanting one in my range since last year.

Glad to have gotten it.

Love the purple Rockies background to add to the flavor of it!
