Clearly Authentic Willie Mays.

Oldmanalan puts out the best Griffey card so far. It is sad that Shore did such a pathetic card.

How did he not do a hat on backwards pic. Also, Don C Griffey clearly cried an ocean of tears which drowned Mays.

Don C's set will be interesting. It just doesn't do it for me, though.

I liked Oldmanalan's Koufax, Clemente and Williams.

His Brett and now his Griffey are less appealing to me.

I really don't think Don C is making any reference to Shore Griffey.
Just looks like he is trying to create certain world/theme with his cards.

His Frank Thomas and Ripken were Gold and Silver/Platinum (this might be a weak connection though).
His Griffey and Willie Mays are ocean and underwater.

I saw his Ripken as Iron because of the Iron Man nickname.

Through the center of the earth (fire, rock) and then coming out the other side in Japan with Ichiro?

Both have their charms, I think the Don C. is his best so far. But I'm not quite sufficiently motivated to buy.

Can thread title be changed to "worst product since 2020 Topps S2"?

Mays probably fished out from the ocean were all those cases of 1952 topps were dumped.

I think both are going to sell very well.

Project 2020 is incredibly fun to collect!

Yes. Site tends to be a bit wonky right after the cards drop so I'll usually wait a bit to order.
