Was in a group break in 2014, think it was random player. Ended up with Mark Appel, #1 pick! Hit like 10 autos including a black and a gold. Still have them, he's still young, right?

I think it was like 2010 when people were going nuts over Donovan Tate, Courtney Hawkins and Matt LaPorta. Their cards were selling for stupid money.

I have a Brett Jackson Bowman Auto #/25.

It’s from whatever his first year of cards was.

I don’t think he’s gonna be next Trout.

Stupid Astros. How did making the "safe pick" work out for you?

I went crazy oVer Eric Jagielo when 13 draft was around, thinking he was gonna be the guy after Arod was gone. I think there was another Yankee prospect similarly priced in that set that i maybe should have gone after but he was an older outfield prospect who was too big and struck out too much.

And everyone knows who I’m talking about here - Ian Clarkin.

Valuable lesson - the back of every bowman prospect sounds like they’re a budding superstar, do your own research.

I really hope you still made a profit after selling the 460 autos. That's a bunch of one player's autos. Impressive!

Oh I feel ya bud. I had maybe the best Jagielo collection going. Still have so many. What to do with them now lol. Have 2x two row boxes of gems and pristine bc and color autos. Had a good amount of Clarkin too. Thank God I was buying Judge too. Still stings though.

I thought Ian Clarkin and Trey Ball were both going to be studs coming out of '13 Draft. Boy was I wrong

Abraham Nunez

Beckett Magazine lied to me!

It’s almost like they help hype/sell cards for manufacturers.

Nah.

I had 500 Manny Delcarmen RC's. He was never a top prospect or anything but he was a local Boston kid who was drafted by the Red Sox.

I gave most, I think I kept like 5, to a local business owner who was supposed to give them to Manny to autograph them and give them to kids at his fundraisers.

On a separate note, once I sell a kidney on the deep web I will be back for that code breaker Pedroia.

When elite extra edition came out in 2007 I thought I would get rich hoarding autos of the guys who weren’t in Bowman that year.
Did great with Donaldson and Arrieta. The others, not so much. I ended up with like 20-50 autos each of guys like Travis Mattair, Nathan Vineyard and Jordan Walden. I was a bad prospector.

i'm still buying low numbered jesse biddle cards when they come up at a decent price. not because i think he's good, more because no one else has really tickled my fancy. he's a local kid that got drafted by my hometown team right as i got back into the hobby. nick bitsko was on the board for the phillies pick and i definitely would have collect him, but the phillies passed.

if anyone here is holding biddles #/50 of less, let me know.

I didn't realize there were any Biddle collectors out there...

I have these listed on COMC for cheap:
2018 topps update camo /25
2018 topps chrome update red refractor /25
2011 heritage minors black /62
