I saw someone sell one of the Topps Holiday autos for $100 in a facebook group today. I was 5 hours or so too late.

I would've jumped on that immediately though. I guess some people don't value it

I used to dismiss this card because it’s from Walmart Holiday. But I can’t deny anymore: this is my second-favorite Bellinger, after the Stadium Club auto. (If only I had one!)

Btw on these holiday autos... did they do metallics like in ‘18? In ‘17 what was the print run? (In ‘18 they are all numbered, as far as I can tell)

It’s a very nice card, and probably my favorite Auto I’ve had in a long time. It’s on card too. I will most likely be selling in the future

I just picked up a 2018 Stadium Club Variation. I don't know why, but this card seems to be extremely rare. There's barely any sales for this card since the product came out. I know the variations were 2 per case, but for some odd reason the Bellinger never shows up.

I wonder if I'm an outlier here, but with the proliferation of autos (generally speaking, not specific to Bellinger) across products, I've become almost numb to them. I like them for 1st Bowman Prospect cards, and the Topps Chrome RC, but lately I've just come to appreciate a nice, non-auto card. For example, I prefer the non-auto TC Update to the auto versions, and I really like the 2018 Topps Rookie Cup/Future Stars - just a clean simple design.

I collect Devers, too, and definitely notice it in his prices. He has tons of autos, so think it may be why.

Bellinger has fewer autos, so feels like they end up at more of a premium.

I think it’ll complete, I was ready to pay just slightly north of $2k for that. I’ve been chasing that card for a while and all the BIN are astronomical.

What are raw selling for these days? $400-500?

Go buy 4 raw and I bet at least 2 will get a PSA 10... you’d be crushing it

For some reason psa 10 is waaaaay over valued for Bellinger cards these days

I thought some of the other auction results that ended last night were a little weak. I'll throw a bid at something that I might not necessarily want just to see what happens. I ended up with:

PSA 10 High Fives - $395
PSA 10 87 Topps Auto - $405
PSA 10 Heritage Red Ink - $1958

I was 2nd highest bidder on the chrome update golds that went... though I was going to get it for a nice price

That 87 Auto I though about, but they just don’t ever seem too popular, and I’m trying to stay away from hoarding

I was the winning bidder (or sucker, depending on your point of view), who bought the Bellinger. I collect Topps SSP photo variations, and this is one I've been trying to find for a long time. There are only 25 graded a 10 by PSA, and I'm not inclined to believe there's a hoard waiting to be submitted. Time will tell if this was a wise purchase or not, but it filled a big hole in my collection.

I don't know about overvalued. I reviewed nine of my own US50's, and only had one worth submitting to PSA. With the almost full bleed photo, tiny imperfections stand out more than a white border card.

What’s the ratio of 9s to 10s? I don’t grade things so I certainly have no evidence. My only experience is comparing cards across players. The ‘17s I have are generally much sharper corners and edges than ‘18 (actually edges are also pretty bad on SP inserts in ‘19, too)

But my sample size is small, so what can I say
