Default Question on Card Shops. Long Trip.

I will be making a trip from Omaha to Atlanta. I would like to hit some card shops on the way. Kansas City. St. Louis. Nashville. Atlanta. I see there is a shop in Columbia, Missouri.

I like to buy/collect singles. I rarely buy wax, unless it's 80s or 90s.

Let me know if you guys have any suggestions for the best shops to hit on the way. Taking my time--making it a two day trip.

Thanks, guys.

Zig

Grand Slam Collectibles is in Murfreesboro (just outside of Nashville) and is worth stopping in. If you come through Knoxville to ATL, Eddie's Sports Treasures is my LCS and one of the biggest in the Southeast. He's got a ton of baseball/football singles and a growing inventory of Basketball. Tons of wax/autos/jerseys/other collectibles too.

I was slightly amused that you assumed all the card shops would be open. Then again, it is ATL where they were having pool parties with strippers while NY was getting hit from all sides.

Default Sad but true

So jealous when I hear of other cities that have shops that even sell packs!

The worst, they do have the show near SunTrust Field that is ok at best.

Baseball Card Store in KC. 9637 W 87th St, Overland Park, KS 66212

Tons of singles from all years, and some cool wax from 80's-now.

I should say, Baseball CArd Store has some strange hours, closed Sunday and Monday I believe and doesnt open till 11-12 most days, so probably worth calling before you go- but definitely worth a stop! The Neal Family runs it, great people. They hosted a panini contest winner with patrick mahomes a few years ago.
