With the exception of sealed retail wax at msrp, what else in this hobby has a guaranteed initial green swing?

Most wont read this or won’t care- probably the same ones of you who didn’t listen to my warnings about selling these on eBay- or the buying and selling warnings that were spot on. But hopefully this post and me spelling out, yet again, simple mathematics can change at least one persons outlook on the product. Maybe even reduce the salty vibes.

I’m just buying one copy of the ones I “like” which admittedly have been every one since 78 except for 2.

Of course those 2 are now 2 of my favorites since I began to appreciate the art more! Oops!

Still trying to be patient and grab the ones I missed so those ten pack buyers are going to help me in the long run!

Thanks for the post. I've been tempted multiple times to do what you are doing, but each time I pull myself back. I might do buy a 5-pack of the Jeter/Ermsy. I live in Yankee country, so I can probably trade the extra 4 for cards at a local card show I attend or give them as gifts to some buddies that don't collect, but might still appreciate them.

I really like the Baller card. Might pick one up after release. However, I don't care for "Ben Baller did the card" printed across the top. I don't like the self-promotion on the front of the card, and I don't like "did" as an active verb..but that appears to be all Baller cards.
