Does anyone have any news on Ermsy Artist autographs?

Too much negativity in this thread, people. We got a Saladeen dropping tomorrow. You know what that means. Time to get back to important topics like Money Bears and how rich we’re all gonna be.

Whatever happened with Money Bear? Did they ship? Are they worth $1,000 yet?

This evening saw a massive number of auctions go off, hundreds an hour for a few hours it seemed. Prices on some good cards took a massive hit. Too many timed auctions, too few buyers to keep prices afloat. I bid like a maniac and got a few deals. I'm hoping this was the capitulation we needed to build a base and healthier price action. Less sellers bailing with auctions taking whatever they can get. More sellers willing to sell at elevated prices and not less. Less buyers needed to hold prices up because the cards are now more in collectors hands than resellers. Enough at least to create a bottom. This is my hope because I'm pretty well tapped out for early cards for now. Don't ya'll love the stories I tell myself in the hope I am right? Who knows, the story may prove out true. If not I'll gladly wear egg on my face.

It's not out of the realm of possibility. If an equal number of new auctions and low BINs come in tonight to replace the finished listings, then people are still liquidating.

In my opinion when we see <20 active listings for some of the lower PR cards that would be the baseline.

You're spot on. Everyone is dumping, at least a little bit. Eventually the ship will right itself

Yep you're right, the market needs less willing sellers. We are at this moment less than 12,200 listings on ebay for the first time since we went up from less than 3,000 on 5/28ish if I remember correctly. That number needs to keep coming down or at least stay fairly stable but will never get close to the 3k number again. That was a severe supply imbalance and we have both a ton more cards bought from Topps and a lot more in hand than we did in late May.

With 10 new cards every week there should be some expectation of expanded listing numbers from the fresh blood entering existence. We are just over 100 releases, so another 10 this week would in theory allow for another 1k+ listings of new cards in hand and new presales and keep the balance decent. But I'd love to see sub 12k listings this week. That'd show some significant supply drain. Fun to track and consider, thanks for playing along with me.

Gooden Looks nice! Not collecting Grotesk or Gooden so it’s a pass but still tempted. Love the Met colors.

Dont look much further than the vides rickey. 8 live auctions 1221 print run looking at 240-300 range

Beck gooden 10 live auctions.

Been keeping an eye on trout auctions. Creeping down but slow. Down to 30ish and some seller has 7 ending at the same time tomorrow. If things work out may be down to teens by next weekend.

Problem i see is a lot of people threw up 7 or more day auctions. Someone bids marketprice that day. 7 days later they win the auction at 25% of current market. Some pay some cancel ask for refunds etc. cards go back on market again at a lengthy time frame again. Sellers get tired and instead of putting a BIN above market and open offers they are undercutting BIN to move product. But they are gonna be swallowed all up at some point on these low pr. Until that day the knife is still falling.

Of course I’m keeping track of Chang/Rivera. That has only 11 current auctions, 4 of which end tomorrow. There are still a few sub-$400 BINs though.

Oh, I am so in on a Chang Clemente!!! Great interview with Sophia too - thanks Blake

Man, I really need to get a JK5 Tex Williams and missing a couple of early Chang's.

I'm torn as far as who to go back and get early artist cards of. JK5, Sophia, Tyson.

Yeah I finally looked at my credit card statement due on Wednesday and yikes lol. Biggest 30 days ever for me. Been too busy lately to do much on ebay anyway. My wallet needs a rest week.
