JK5 is not for me but Oldmanalan's cards have a very nice, clean look to them in person. His Koufax is fantastic and I expect his Clemente and Williams to be sharp as well.

The distinction between opinion and fact, perhaps?

I love JK5's stuff; Oldmanalan is probably my least favorite.

Oldmanalan's cards look like baseball cards with just different photos. I really don't "get" what he's doing.

JK5 needs a magnifying glass, almost too much detail
Vides - I haven't seen in person, but on the face of it doesn't seem that special
Natural / Rochester - it looks like all the cards will be just like the regular cards but painted

Default "Chang" Rivera

I picked up a "Chang" Rivera today for $292.00

With all of the early cards I purchased from Topps, I am disappointed that I didn't pick this up directly from Topps, but that's water under the bridge.

I sold one of my "Baller" Thomas cards to pay for most of it.

It would suck if the cards continue to fall, but I'll at least be pumped to get some of the cards I missed out on.

My first JK5 came in today, the Clemente. I picked it up out of curiosity, and planned on selling it but I'm enjoying it quite a bit more than expected, the details on it are super fun. I'll definitely consider grabbing some of his other cards. Also a couple Rochesters that have really started to grow on me, currently own zero of his. I'll probably pick up cards from both artists in the future, and maybe some of the older ones if the prices drops enough.

It's okay to not buy cards you don't like. A player set of 3 or 5 or 12 cards that you absolutely love makes a lot more sense to me than chasing down all 20 for the sake of it. Even if you LOVE Fucci's Trout more than any other card you've ever seen in your life, his Trout is so different from the others that it might feel out of place in a Trout display, yet still be the highlight of your collection.

JK5 is easily my favorite artist, but even among his cards, I like some more than others.

The splash of color in his Ichiro and Clemente really make them pop, to me.

Oldmanalan's cards look like they could be some sort of Topps Montgomery set. Nice, clean looking cards. Except for that Gwynn. Not what you'd really expect from Project 2020.

I don't see the prices of these cards really falling. I still can't get a Fucci Ripken or Rochester Koufax under $350.The prices are still pretty much high on cards that was $20 a few months ago.

I think we're seeing a divergence. Before everything was going up regardless of artist / player. It seems like chang is less popular. I think people were overestimating how popular Rivera is. Ermsy cards still seem to be doing well with lots of late bidding. The early JK5 cards as well. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

So I’m in the boat of collecting the full 400 card set. There are earlier cards I’m missing. I’ve picked up a few in the last 2 weeks thinking they were deals, but the prices continue to fall.

I can’t help but think there are more than a few like me. Every day I feel like bottom is hit, but nope. Once that bottom does get hit and people feel like it’s ok to buy without losing your shirt, I think they will steadily climb up. These are getting locked into collections now, but for cards with sub 1500 print runs, how many collections can there be?

I'll speak for myself, but I won't buy from people with less than 100% feedback even if the auction is a bit lower and I'm probably not alone.

I hear ya. Its like whack a mole. 40-50 trout ermsy auctions at all times. Week in week out. Need it down to 10-15 before any gains can be seen again. Seems like rickey vides was getting close 10-15 auctions but no bidders showed up today looks like it went from 320ish - 220ish in the last 12 hrs. Back to 5-18/5-19 prices well before the blast off.

No, they are two of the best. Shore and Fucci are the least appealing.

98% or more from me... As a seller i received a negative feedback once cause a buyer tried to bully me into a refund cause of nonsense. (Sold a loose pack of cards, he opened it and didnt have a foil inside, claimed I weighed it beforehand and sold him a bum pack and wanted me to send him another) told him to kick rocks. Too many sour buyers are responsible for the feedback to hope every seller is 100%.

Took a while to sell out but am excited to get the Thiele New York Heritage card. So much going on in that piece. Someone mentioned before his cards would look fantastic as a print. This card especially.

Saw once on the P2020 FB group that he was being called out for returning “all his items”, but I’m not sure of all the details.
Maybe it has to do with that.
