Well said. I have zero sympathy for anyone who blindly invested money. That isn't on Blake. Even though Blake is an artist, he is also a salesman trying to sell his product. There are 15 more cards being released by him plus all the other one off products from 2020 Topps Project. What did Tyson Beck say about when he made cards for Topps Fire? Don't come on the BO forums because they'll rip you apart and make you cry? Tyson and Blake were everyone's best friend while the highs were high. All the artists who participated in the community were besties. Now so many are ripping Blake apart because their cards tanked and took investment advice from him when all he wanted to do was spread his art and joy with a larger audience.

If you ever read this Blake, Eric, and Tyson, keep doing what you do. I'm appreciative of getting to watch some cool dudes who have an awesome gift develop themselves using a lifelong hobby of mine as a medium. I'm happy I can share a very tiny part of that with others in a time of craziness in our world. Thank you.

How anyone can be mad at Blake when 99% of the people on this thread last week were pumping these cards and for people to buy more is beyond me.

Everything I've seen of Gary in the past I just don't like him. Reputation risk? Is there many if anything that he didn't catapult? Guy is worth well into the 9 figures. I don't think he's going to go bankrupt if he says he likes something and it stays stagnant or goes down in value.

There were a couple of cards I bought that I probably wouldn't have after watching Blakes Livestream. Ive "lost" a couple hundred dollars on those cards. I don't blame Blake for that. I made the purchases. Of course, I only bought cards I wanted for my collection and wasn't picking them up to flip which is why I say "lost" He seems like a good dude. Hearing about him signing cards for free and then paying to mail them back to those who didn't include return postage is saying something. Yes, he is hyped about selling more of his cards. We all would be if in that situation. Ill still wear my fanny pack with pride when I get it in, lol.

It doesn't take a marketing genius to know 2020 Topps Project is a hot mess right now and another huge influx of new money for the second time could cause unsustainable market growth and a catastrophic crash again. I am sure his team is following this thread and the current market.

Makes zero sense for his brand to talk about the project right now. Not worth the risk.

Exactly. Just because some people on BO dont understand him or like his approach...Gary has built up a lot of credibility with his followers/fans. His whole thing is being "right". Gary putting his stamp on TP2020 right now, isnt worth the risk to him. I would give him the same advice to stay away, if I was on his team.

Well said. Let me add...if you listen to him, his intent is very pure. I’ve learned a ton from listening to how he collects. His goal is not to pump but to promote the hobby and share—to help inspire people to hopefully get as much joy out of collecting as he does. He’s also right about a ton of stuff! Mostly, he’s honest and genuine. Even if you don’t agree with everything, you should absolutely listen. TBP is good people for sure. Hobby cornerstone, IMO.

There has been no announcements for any related cards or products. Still 75% of the cards need to be released still.
