I sold that Coby White this past week and just received a return request. Here is the buyers reason for returning it as not as described since I don’t accept returns.

way off center top to bottom, not listed in your description. couldn t tell from your photos in listing till I had card in hand.

The pictures seem pretty clear to me, thoughts?

I’m pretty sure those are the only 2 options, ever. I did contact EBay they said email the buyer, which I did and see what they say. Also they said that they would credit the fees and shipping if the return went through.

Go with eBay’s willingness to refund all fees and take the return. His mind is made up. Buyer’s remorse. Pics are super clear in regard to centering.

I appreciate the heads up and will add to the block list.

appear clear enough to me to see centering - and it does appear to be off t/b BUT...you CAN see it

Oh man, thanks for sharing.

Expecting a TON of this with Mosaic. Had someone return a Ja Morant Silver because it had a surface dimple (which was fine...I honestly couldn't even see it till it was pointed out)

BUT...sent it to get graded instead of relisting and the Surface got a 10.

This week a first time eBayer says his raw NBA Debut he bought from me "won't get a PSA 10", and asked for $8 (and to keep the card, lol

).

Had a return a few months ago, the buyer claimed the "card was not as centered as I thought".

I looked it over and was like, WTF is he talking about?!

I sent it in to PSA and it got at 10!!!

To anyone new to the hobby reading this, if you’re upset about a purchase and the mistake is on you, re-sell the card at your own potential loss. It’s not the seller’s fault and not an honest reason for a return. Returning cards for “not as centered as I thought” is not an honest reason.

That’s usually what happens. But it’s especially obnoxious when they’re upset about centering on a card that has clear images. In this case it could just be buyer’s remorse and a made up reason. People are now returning cards where the PSA or BGS case isn’t blemish free, when every case has some sort of blemish if you look hard enough or take the photo at the right angle.

When raw cards that are not numbered are sold on eBay...isnt it a legit concern that the buyer keeps the card and sends back a similar but slightly worse card of the same version. Seems this is a scam in a lot of cases.

I would be concerned about this as well. I personally don't even see a centering issue. Card looks at least a 9. Unless promises are made that a card will grade something specific it is ridiculous that these people buy and expect an automatic 10.
