It is. And this is the problem Twitter has now created; it has hundreds of thousands of these kinds of posts; tens of thousands from verified accounts and it's previous stance was to let it all go. It was a good stance IMHO.

Now censoring the President, how can they justify leaving stuff like this? How can they allow all of the *#(! the cops content, the kill Trump jokes and the rest of it?

Was he actually arrested or just detained? I didn't hear any rights being read.

Wasn't aressted, but took him and the camera crew into custody for an hour+, then released. Mayor Frey said he would explain why ... but I'm not sure I read why just yet.

Not sure. The team appears to be complying and non-aggressive. First time I have seen something like that happen.

The only thing I can think of it is a private platform. They can allow and not allow whatever they want. It doesn't make it right.

Correct. They can do as they please right now; but the look is terribly hypocritical and it's justifiable when they get pinned to the position of "Why did you censor this, but allow this". It's a question they'll be asked thousands of times everyday now.

Shouldn't censor any of it, but its their business and they'll reap the consequences of their actions.

can cnn share the 10 minutes before leading up to the detention. i would love to know if and how many times they were told to move to another location. ofcourse the released video shows the police closed in on them and they are fully compliant saying moves us where you would like. sounds like they were not complying to move to another location and the order was made to arrest them before the video starts. freedom of the press can not infringe on law enforecment carrying out their duties, espcially in a crisis.

For the most part I have given up on all the "news" networks. I will check out their web feeds and read through some articles but I cannot stand the talking heads on any of them. Unfortunately last night I had to tune in just to see what the heck was going on.

I was watching this live - before they went to the reporter...The police just got there and walked up to him and you see the result. According to a police response, at first, they said the team did not move when asked - they were NEVER asked to move.

Further - the white reporter, a block away was asked nicely to move and he did - lol.......
