Hahahaha. Yes me. Offering to buy anybody on the forum, of TPBs choosing of course, an Ermsy Trout if TPB just backs up his statement.

World burner over here.

You guys are still making bank. I’m just enjoying the roller coaster of it all.

There was bound to be a pullback after the 100K Griffey went nuclear, just keep an eye on the print runs everyday. The current Ripken and Rivera will be less than today's numbers. The Jeter might spike a little because it's Jeter, then the Gwynn will give you a more accurate number for projecting tomorrow's cards.

im contemplating buying 10 Gwynns for $154 shipped. The ones on Topps right now. I really like this card so if anything ill keep one at least.

But if I can flip the other 9....well....thats obviously even better

At the same time, I dont have too much to spend on this or any card for that matter

However, with all of the early numbered duplicates I sold -- which I thankfully made a pretty substantial return on -- I re-invested into Durant rookie Gems which I've been putting off and some Giannis #d heat: safer vehicles, or, at the very least, hedged bets.

I got lucky. I cannot stress this enough.

Lucky, you hear me?

Current tally:

$3,800 spent.

$10,600 sold.

Still on hand: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 14 (x2), 15, 16 (x2), 17, 18, 19 (x2), 20, 22, 23, 27 (x2), 28, 29, 38.

Pre-ordered, not arrived: 54 (x3), 72 (x8), 86 (x8)
That's great! Congratulations on making some money and having an awesome collection! And having fun

Spot on again Ninja.....I don't think anybody has any idea how this is gonna turn out....For those who are fear mongering and afraid of price drops cash out and move on to something else

But for those like myself and many many others who enjoy the set and are just happy that cards we bought at msrp or even a little more have seen dramatic increases simply enjoy the ride we're on because it's likely we may never see this again

And we're not even a 1/4th of the way there.....Buckle up everyone!

Could the next Thiele influence his cards at all? I just don't want this gwynn to be worth $400 by weeks end

The PR is still going to be very high on the Gwynn. Its going to take several cards of high print runs for them to start dropping back down. IF you like the card, just buy one. I wouldn't be buying any of them the flip. You can buy a single card from TwinsJake for $16 shipped.

Congrats, wish I had paid closer attention from the outset, but I been out of the game for several years and happened to be watching breaks again because of boredom. Wax prices now are a jaw dropper. Can't wrap my head around the regular customers every night in the group break live streams buying spots like they were when case prices were equivalent to box prices now.

True. They are cheaper that way, ebay or on his site. But you also have to account for little things. Taxes, and in the case of ebay....ebay bucks.

Ill think about what ill do. There's still well over 24 hours to decide

Oh there's definitely a resurgence coming, might be a little while, and might not be as steep a line, but it's coming. Long term getting these at cost from Topps, Houdini, or TwinsJake, is pretty safe. Pick your spots and time the low PR stuff with the dips. 10 packs during the peak when everyone else is catching wind, will flood the secondary market.

Be shocked if either the Ripken or Rivera was below 41k. The Don C Ripken already has about as many presales on ebay as the Ted Williams did when the clock expired.

It will take weeks of 40k+ print runs for pr's to come down

Which cards? All the low print run stuff I'm watching is up slightly from the lowest sales of earlier.

Just got this in the mail. Not sure what the Japanese says, but it looks cool. JK5 is going to be on Blakes stream so will be interested to hear him share some backstories.

Are the cards with print runs under 2k going to keep falling forever or will we see them go back up?

The Don C is also an outlier because it's easy for the newcomers to chase his set with only a couple cards released to date and not having to pay top dollar for early several low PR cards on ebay to catch up for set building.
