Guys, I know we've all been purposely fear mongering here the last couple of days to strategically buy the dip in the product before Gary V's big announcement. Now that his announcement has been pushed back until next week, I'm assuming we're supposed to continue the gloom and doom posting/strategic buying until we can cash in next week? Is that still the plan?

The panic selling “have to get SOME profit” is just going to result in less money for you in the end, unless you own 1 card.

I’ve simply bumped my card prices back up to what I want for them. If it crashes and burns so be it. I “own” 170+ topps project cards, each one under 15k PR.

When there is a massive print run countless amounts of th cards will always be available. So people looking to flip are either stuck never selling them or have to lower the price. This is why the Shore Griffey once all the cards are in hand will never crack $50 and probably not even $40.

If 90% of buyers were solely to flip, why is there an expectation it would break MSRP?

I think two or three days ago there was only somewhere around 4k listings. Over half of the 10k listings now are auctions, it's usually the opposite.

Don't hold your breath. If I'm putting odds on it I'll say 10% chance that the Griffey with all cards in hand on a consistent basis cracks $40.
