A) It's possible with most companies to request authentic only designations and no grade. This is the least likely scenario.
B) The card has been altered or is so damaged it doesn't warrant a number grade. |

I’m among those who prefer the authenticated designation because I’m only looking for protection and authentication...and thinks the big number is an ugly and unnecessary distraction to the card itself.
