I think that's smart. I'm trying to accumulate the old stuff also - by selling some of my stash of newer releases. Sell Baller Trouts and buy a Cartoon Clemente for example. Baller Trouts may have higher ROI, but I like the idea of consolidating these into blue chipper early releases.

I had the same thought as well. I've played DFS since 2014 and the Rotogrinder touts are some of the biggest grifters in the industry. Not surprised they'd partner with this clown.

Yes, you can walk in for drop off and pick it up the next day. They used to do same day but stopped guaranteeing that a while back.

Sat through the SCI and while I think he tries to lay out his argument well, the biggest thing he misses is the EMOTIONAL CONNECTION people have to P2020.

Never in anyone's lifetime has the country shut down to the point where the streets of Time Square have looked like a complete ghost town. Everyone who has bought a P2020 card up until now will remember where there were, what was going on in their lives and what interested them in buying a card. Whether it was the player, the artist, the money- doesn't matter. Everyone is experiencing something completely unique in their life and P2020 is attached to that. He mentions the popularity because of no sports- EXACTLY! This set is etched in time and will forever will be.

The value of Project 2020 is in EMOTION.

Lastly, if people think were having a baseball season this year- you havent been reading between the lines in the news. Both sides are FAR apart in negotiations and I seriously doubt we have a 2020 season. Even more reason this set is special.

Personally, I don't want them in graded holders but Im keeping what I have for my PC as I really like the cards. . If you are wanting to flip and look your card over with a magnifying glass and it looks perfect, youll probably get more for a 10.

Everyone wants a piece of the pie, if BGS can get a Pristine 10 out early for one of the hoddest commodities on the secondary market, that alone will generate enough buzz to gain back some of the business lost to PSA recently. They want everyone to send in there Project2020 cards for grading especially with 100 releases out already and 300 more to come.
