Don C's Thomas is a sleeper! Yes its a 11k PR which is higher than anyone's first, but he now has the advantage of super high PRs for his next 19 cards (which none of the others do).

Nah, you’re just complaining now because you know your ROI is going to be less than you imagined. Those of us who got in early will be fine because THERE IS DEMAND for this set. If our ROI is less for awhile, that’s fine. We know those of you who don’t really give a damn about this set, other than ROI, will give up after awhile, print runs will go down, and everything will go back to how it was.

Even if cards sell for 2x for the near term for those coming out recently, people upset with 75%+ ROI's after fees and whatnot are extremely greedy.

The days of 100x ROI are long gone, but be happy if cards settle into the $30 range in June and July if you got in at the $16ish price point from Topps.

It's just in response to the guys looking at this through the lens of the money being made (the majority of the thread). It's not money made until you go to sell, and the vast majority aren't selling. That's all.

I find it interesting. I'm not hating the set. I love it and think it's interesting and I love stuff like this in the hobby. My favorite cards in my collection are commissioned pieces, not pack pulled stuff.

The hobby, in general, doesn't like this type of stuff long-term though. Could this set be the turning point? Unlikely, but possible.

My thing is just to the guys who are seeing the massive returns ON PAPER, just cash out now while the market is hot.

is there a point where 3 days of cards will be up for sale? i thought there would be an overlap. looking to cut down on packages.

is this wrong? will the cards from today only appear after the ones from monday are gone?

Totally can see that. Then the sneaker bois and cook groups will bail for the next big ROI. 2x profit is great for us, but for them that’s nothing. At least when 2x is off $20. They’ll go on of ROI is 2x on a grand.

Shouldn’t be. Each set of two cards is for sale for 48 hours. I buy on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

I see the long term trending towards the flashier players and artists. I wasn't impressed by the Don C Thomas, but that Ripken might be the coolest card yet. What I like about this is everyday there's something completely different. Anyone have a hi-res of the Mo, there's too much detail for such a small pic.

Ease up on the paranoia. This set is building steam, and probably at a more healthy pace now. It's noon on a Wednesday and people are freaking out because everything isn't doubling overnight?

Please quote this post for when the Keith Shore Griffey sells 40K copies and the thread does a complete emotional 180 in the next hour.

If you're not into P2020 please honestly go elsewhere with the doom & gloom. There hundreds of chats on this forum and thousands of other places on social media to spread the negativity.

This is possibly the most innovative sports card project in our lifetimes. That's not a commentary on ROI or whether or not the sky is falling, it's just a simple observation.
