AP sold out before they were shown on site. It would help if people don't leak the daily cards, botters won't know what to look for. But that is my 2 cents.

I've sold 4 cards so far, average ROI is close to 1400%. It's all gravy now.

I do feel for some folks who bought high. Panic is a real thing. Try to chill and enjoy this.
That’s not 100% ROI
That’s sneakerboi logic
eBay charges fees and you have to pay to ship your item

If you're buying at these prices (only approximately 50 people in @ $2k+) you're a bigger fool.

Not quite the market cap of the Trout Update...

I'm only seeing the sold out AP's -- anyone seeing the regular cards and 2 card bundles?

EDIT: NVM - got it

I don't want to say 100K on the Griffey, but it wouldn't surprise me either.

If buying, even at a 10% ROI, means you can print money, people will use up all their capital.

Why wouldn't I just buy 10,000 personally for $200K if it meant that I can return $20K? Better gains in shorter periods than the market.

You don't have to have 100 people pumping the thread to "enjoy the hobby". If that is all that is holding these things up then the people posting about the flip side are the least of everyones worry.

I don't see anything wrong with people saying to take profits while the prices are at great numbers return wise on initial investment.

It's like I said..you're always gonna have people who want this to fail so they can feel better about themselves for not jumping in..they'll do anything to keep reminding people how trash the product is..how its gonna crash etc etc..now im saying everyone with that opinion is like that..but there are definitely some that have that mentality. It sucks but it is what is..unfortunately instead of talking about the cards or artists most of the last few pages have been about end is near..undercutting..discord groups..crashes etc.

I think it's a win-win if you're a collector. I bought a bunch of non-pc stuff throughout the past month if I liked the look. If prices stay high I can sell the stuff I don't absolutely love and cover the cost (plus some) of the PC cards I'm planning to keep regardless. If the bottom drops out then I can shoot for the entire 400 card set & pick up those 50 or so cards that are way out of my price range at the moment.

Or a full 20 card run of Baller to a Baller fan.

Sure -- we are not even 25% in, so the current momentum can not possibly last 400 cards. There have been peaks. There will be dips. But longterm these sets are going to be amazing.
That's what I am doing with Henderson now, barring a pre-order snafu on the one that I missed when I was buried in work.

This may well crash, but unlike the previous entries being mentioned, there has never been anything like these cards.

Newsflash!

Cook groups and sneaker bois wouldn’t be getting involved if people weren’t interested. You think people are gonna stop being interested when they get involved?

Nah, you’re just complaining now because you know your ROI is going to be less than you imagined. Those of us who got in early will be fine because THERE IS DEMAND for this set. If our ROI is less for awhile, that’s fine. We know those of you who don’t really give a damn about this set, other than ROI, will give up after awhile, print runs will go down, and everything will go back to how it was.

Then you’ll come running back.
