I'm in the minority but the #2 Rochester Koufax with the low print run seems very underrated.....And no one seems to be talking about it

Let's not lose sight of the fact that a lot of these are awesome designs. I don't love all these cards, but some like Taylor Rickey, Baller Gooden, Thiele Jeter, Blake McGwire, Beck Ripken etc are really amazing

This for sure will hit mainstream media soon. People are bored and anything that can make a 250x return in 2 months is going to get attention. This has the remnants of things like beanie babies and bitcoin that the news loves. The difference is these are print to order, so anyone can join in for the next 30 weeks for a cheap price point and not needing to hunt. The people that are getting brought in are clueless and it’s just getting pumped. Sure it’s expanding the audience due to the art aspect but there will be a point where it’s over saturated.

We will definitely jump the shark at some point. Not sure if 100k will be the tipping point or something less but it’ll happen before these 7 months are over. These early print cards though are going to make some people some nice money and for these later runs, Topps and artists will be raking it in.

$200 in Topps Project cards on ebay will get you next to nothing now. $200 from the fanny pack has big upside.

Some people have the thesis gary vee is the reason the trout baller is up-up on the huge print run. To achive that he would have to have made a substantial purchase from topps then drudge throw ebay mercari knocking down 30-35$ BB trouts for weeks. And still might not be in the position to sell by friday due to shipping etc. i dont feel he is in on the baller trouts.

But with the pending napalm about to be dropped whats the battle plan? Hold the line? Move some crazy stuff?

My 20 is still in transit from Topps. They had to ship it via armored truck because the gold 1/1 is among them.

Guys like Gary Vee have to be careful with this, if you get everyone to buy 50 from topps, the print runs go exponential and it either makes them all worthless or gets to the point where topps can't make that many. You want to the print runs low enough to continue to generate scarcity unless he bought up lots of all the early releases and is only looking to sell them for big $$$. I just hope if someone like him does ruin this, we can still collect via topps.
