It reminds me of when this thread first started. These cards are valuable now because not enough people saw the potential early on. I was one of the ones that failed to see it. Never again lol!

I was not young enough or old enough to not care one bit about beanies at that time. Seem like the build up took longer than p2020.

This can't be stated enough, these are prints, not actual painted pieces. I think some people think ermsy drew all those Trout cards.

I feel that this craze is much different than the Beanie Baby one because this one involves sports. Not having sports for a few months has made me realize how important sports are to the US...it’s part of the fiber of our country

That's the whole point. These are artits prints (which, don't artist prints sell for hundreds or even thousands of dollars on their own) AND they are limited baseball cards (which can sell for hundreds or even thousands on their own). Mix those together and you get what you have here.
