Depends on how many are chasing 1) The Tyson Beck set; 2) the complete 400-card set; and 3) a Mets or Gooden subset.

Amazing though how Gooden has never had a card issued during his career worth as much as his P2020 #12 card.

Last week's question: Does the new 10k PR trend hold?

This week's question: Does the Baller Trout get overtaken, and if so, how many times?

Is anyone else stacking P2020 like one stacks gold or silver coins?

The above is valued around $827,000.

Please don't take this as bragging. I absolutely DON'T want to brag. I want to illustrate what 24 hours can do. I simply can't believe it.

dandluniques another one to avoid buying from. Just cancelled my order of 3 Jamieson Henderson. No note, apology—nothing.

I’m sure this has been discussed but I don’t feel like digging through all the pages. Are people submitting these for grading or do you think the value is better in the topps case?

That's insane. I just don't understand how these have shot up considerably. Are art fans buying these? I can't imagine someone would go out and buy one of these instead of locking up a genuine card in their collection.

Also, who says you need to invest in stocks? Invest in cards. Look at that return in a month lol.

I do read the thread. Up to about $20k in p2020 inventory. Small potatoes, but...

(I dont know exactly when these were taken, so some of the prices will be out of date with what they are now, but if you were questioning the manipulation, here you go)

Right now it doesn't matter. Matter of fact, I have no interest RIGHT NOW in sending these anywhere but my safe.

Simply unbelievable and believable at the same time

I like these cards, but I would throw future profit to the wind if I could sell that lot for 650K cash

YES, this is the correct question and the reason you are seeing gains unlike any other product we’ve seen ....it’s also the reason you can still get on board and buy low PR cards today.....if you think $500 is too much today, you’ll regret it tomorrow or the next day....not rocket science. A lot of us who have been in this since late March have had pretty consistent posts since then...not hyping but trying to help with good advice....

So I’ve been to many card shows and have seen guys who only sell Topps Now, Living Set, etc. Card shows aren’t happening right now, but could you imagine one happening this weekend for someone selling P2020? You’d probably sell your entire inventory in an hour- and it would only take that long because of dealing with the huddled masses of people lining up to buy.

I do grade cards, but personally I would not send these for a couple reasons:

1) A BGS or PSA 9 would just be awful. These need to be Gem or you've ruined them

2) Who knows what can happen in this market while your card is sitting at a grader. I want these in my hands at all time.

3) The market will eventually decide if they want graded, and you can alway grade them at that point. Personally, I think most will want them in their P2020 case (unless Topps is sending these out in fat toploaders with scotch tape across the top by card #200).

It’s not bragging at all.
It’s called making a smart investment if you do decided to liquidate.

Maybe TP2020 will lead to regulation of eBay and the sports card industry as a whole.

Exactly this. And yet people here are like stfu about Money Bear. They just don’t get it. Have you guys looked at completed auctions for the Bear recently?

It reminds me of when this thread first started. These cards are valuable now because not enough people saw the potential early on. I was one of the ones that failed to see it. Never again lol!

Proof of market manipulation is the LEAST surprising thing in this thread.
