So my plan this whole time was to collect Griffey, Sell Jeter and Sell Thiele... Well I am priced out of the Thiele Koufax now I think. I just get myself to spend that much on one of these cards.

Also, that Griffey collection once it's done at the end of the project is getting sold. I don't see how I can sit on that collection of cards when I could use the money to buy cards I never thought I would own.

These are so hot i noticed all the people preselling these at the cost price have stopped and now are just running these auction style....

Just wait till 2021 when Aaron, Acuna, Chipper, and god knows who else...This is definitely a marathon and not a sprint

Pretty arrogant dude which rubs some people the wrong way, but I could never question his work ethic.
I’m Asian too, in my 30s, lived in LA my entire life, and never heard of the guy. Maybe it’s because I don’t pay any attention to hip-hop culture.

But yeah, just by casually browsing his social media he does seem arrogant and a bit of a d-bag/wannabe gangster with all the cursing he does. That said, I just watched a couple of videos he posted of his son and he looks like a good and dedicated father. That’s all that counts, really.

For sure. We all know the type. Society is crumbling, people are out of work...and little pictures of men are the new age tech boom. It's a wild ride.

Yes, once I saw how hot “random” cards we’re getting I dug into it

It’s sad

And it’s not really just the big name we’ll known pumpers that are influencing things ... it’s some of their followers influencing other followers

They talk themselves into the next big thing and 1500 people follow them along

Keep in mind you don’t need but a few hundred people willing to spend a few hundred dollars buying the high PR stuff to move it up significantly

Cartoon was massive in the 90's when lowriders and homies figurines were the rage. But he's still well respected especially on the westcoast and has a lot of pull with the big rappers like Snoop Dogg.

I'd say Don C has potentially the biggest crossover appeal because he was heavy in the fashion industry and more particularly shoes. So all the funko/supreme flipperbois still hold him in high regard. I'm just not sure how much he uses his platform to push products these days. It does appear Ben has the greatest hustler mentality out of all of them...that's always who he's been.

My mother threw away a massive Gallon ziploc bag full of homies when she got mad at me for smoking pot. I legit probably spent about $100 in quarters over the years lol

Hip hop most definitely. Yeah, I can't say he's the type of dude I'd enjoy having a 1 hour sitdown convo with. But it appears he's mellowed out a bit since becoming a father, and puts 110% into everything he does (good or bad).

Leaning this or Thiele Koufax. I like the look of Thieles and have the mays and trout so maybe I need to grab that Koufax before it’s too late.

Surprised this hasn't been brought up yet. Any 90s insert clectors remember the 1997 Topps Gallery Peter Max set? Max of course is a world famous artist, I'd argue more so than anyone in P2020. He designed a 10 card set in baseball and football, and artist signatures numbered to 40 were randomly inserted into packs.

PSA 10s of the Jeter are a huge catch:

Can you imagine what these would have sold for if we had Blowout, Twitter, and buyers groups in 1997?

I second this. Blake’s Nolan is his rookie card and is much too low when compared to Mattingly. I also like Efdot’s Nolan for $200. Hasn’t blown up in price yet and Efdot still has the big guns to do. He also sold a bunch of autographed versions so his published PR overstates what’s in circulation. I only have a couple of each so not trying to pump the bs.

How many preorder cards have gone from under $50 to $200 in the last week?
I've already had two sellers skip out on $150 and $250 in additional profit to honor the deals we made. I have two sellers that have sworn that they will deliver the cards I bought because it's important to them to be honorable.

I'm giving you an olive branch by stating that, of course, their will be some sellers who will renege, but I don't think it's something everyone should worry about.

If you buy off of eBay, do your research, know your sellers. Same thing you should be doing anyways.

I would say “Valley” but if you don’t know anything about LA you wouldn’t have a clue where that is. It’s basically where all the major movie studios are. I just say LA because everyone knows where LA is.

The days of innocent nubiles unknowingly underselling the p2020 market are damn near over.

Now all the BIN/BO's are approaching Venus.

Sadness.
