I paid $100 for a card that just completed its journey over the Pacific ocean in a bubble mailer that is now worth $2000 and has yet to see my mail box.

This is the new gif when you spend 500 on a card that Topps hasn't printed yet.

street artists often produce art on other mediums... found art, wood, clip board, old newspaper, pieces of walls that were painted which the building owner then sells. Sometimes, they go for a lot of money. There are a number of street art forums, the largest of which are often centered around particular artists...

I have never seen these artists mentioned on those forums. Now, that's not meant to talk down on the artists... King Saladeen has an exhibit in the Philly airport. But I think most of these artists that people are labeling as "street art" lean more toward the streetwear/hip hop cultural part of the internet. Which, again, is fine. But if you search "King saladeen forum" on Google, the 5th, 6th, and 7th search results are this thread right here.

GD these guys on 15 different mediums... I signed up via email, but didn't know about the live stream tonight... I've watched a few but everyone doing one ever other day is getting exhausting.

I got one each of his first but was afraid being and early supporter the hype would outpace supply and I would be stuck with some missing autos.

All good, can easily flip what I have and refocus my collection. Really wanted to try for Ermsy and Blake auto collection but the hypebeasts beat me out (after just getting a Trout for under 1k)

This is getting ridiculous, it’s turned into Panini FOTL products. I was going after the set of artist autos and regular set, but if this stuff is going to be a flipper’s paradise then I’m out. I don’t have the time to invest in this product anymore.

Siff Ripken and Saladeen Mattingly are still at a decent level before the take off, imo. Both low PR for cool cards..

I grabbed a Blake Mattingly, Saladeen Mattingly, Saladeen Jeter and Taylor Jeter tonight just because they 'felt cheap'.

Project 2020 has its hooks in me.

I'd rather have a 5 pack of a P2020 card straight from Topps than a money bear card, but to each his own.
Do we know yet whether Money Bear will be 130 pt in a one-touch holder?

It appears like a dominant color in the earlier card then becomes a secondary color in the following card. Definitely watching to see if this pattern continues.

Maybe Don C will run through a variety of precious metals and Matt Taylor will work his way through the color wheel.

Could be cool.

What's everyone's most anticipated card? Seeing as we've seen all the artists.

Speaking of low print run and cool cards, precious little time before Money Bear crosses the $1,000 mark. Get in while it’s still relatively cheap.

I think it’s the salty ones that are less likely to take the plunge on Money Bear in the secondary market. They see a card they could have had for much less but passed on. So they’re like “I’m not paying that ridiculous price!” But then they watch again in disbelief as in a matter of weeks the price they thought was ridiculous turns out to have been a steal. When the card had already jumped but before it had truly taken off. And then they realize they passed on a good opportunity not once, but twice. The double salty. Twice as bitter.

Do you think Saladeen would have sold out of these on his website if the price point was $1,000? That's a million bucks for him.

Right, wrong, or indifferent, that card's just not worth $100 to me. I had the chance to buy and I passed. I could have flipped it I guess but I think it's 99% hype and 1% the value/appeal of the card itself. When the bubble bursts, money bear will be the first to drop. But will the bubble burst? Is this the first guaranteed winning investment ever? Time will tell.

Alan Greenspan sends his regards.

Excited for his Trout and Griffey. Vides gets no love on the forum unfortunately.
