Steph will probably be remembered as the better player even though kd will always have been the better player. My two cents.

Media will portray steph as the better all time player but kd is of course the better one of the 2,

Steph revolutionized the game, even if he did shrink a bit on the big stage.

Plus he's maintained relatively clean PR status.

KD was the overall better talent, but the fact Steph won both before and during Durant's tenancy look better on him.

In terms of skill/talent overall, KD is the better player. However, I believe Steph's legacy will be looked back on more fondly - greatest shooter of all-time, revolutionized the game, won with and without KD.

I agree. History is written by the winners and Steph will retire with the adoration of a global fanbase while KD will retire with an army of online haters from OKC and NorCal. The difference maker would be if KD brings a chip to Brooklyn.

Curry's better to collect because he's more likable but Durant is definitely a better player.

Durant is the better two-way player but what Curry has accomplished (with or without Durant) is significantly more impressive imo. Curry is a skinny 6’3” player dominating the NBA offensively. He gets his team involved and celebrates their individual (and collective) achievements. He’s a better team player and morale booster. Although not the best defender, he gets a decent amount of steals too.

I just love the guy! Like ninja said too, great/clean PR too.

You're right KD has no heart... He didn't play hurt to try and bring GS another championship... he tore his Achilles because he didn't care about his team and just put his career on the line for sh*ts and giggles... what a heartless dude...

49 votes in its 24-25.. Not surprised.. It's a tough choice.

The level of talent is not close, but after following both of their careers (including college) closely I’d pick Steph all day, everyday.

This seems incredibly counterintuitive

KD is clearly better than Steph, but Penny Hardaway and Allen Iverson are collected much more than John Stockton and Chris Paul, who are far superior players.

I think KD is the better player all the way around but Steph won Championships with and without KD. As of now KD cannot say the same and I think that is whats going to be remembered.

KD is more talented and a better overall basketball player but Steph has a significantly more important legacy and impact on the game.

I'm in agreement with the two posts above.

Durant is a bit like Garnett in that he is one of the most talented players of all-time (perhaps top 10 in terms of talent) but had to leave to start winning, which perhaps unfairly hurts his legacy.

Curry got it done on his 'own' team, which elevates him in the rankings.

There's still time for one of them to pull away from the other, i.e. depending on injuries and success in the years ahead.

Curry is NBA’s dream to market as face of the league.
Family man - no scandals - no issues with the law (Durant has none as well) - mvp - champion - having said all that I’ll still vote Durant and if I’m wrong I’ll just say it was my burner account who voted.
