Easy to see why wheeler is pumping this set so much. Nice stash.

Just don't hold too long.

I can't speak for others but when I stumbled into project 2020 Beck's Gooden was the first card I bought. It'll be the rarest card in the set for the foreseeable future.

I put my phone away for a couple hours to watch the Last Dance uninterrupted and all hell breaks loose with Ermsy’s cards, huh?

Given its print run, Ermsy (specifically Gooden) was undervalued at around $120 earlier today. I think some folks decided to buy up all the listings and sell at $200+ (once they cornered the market.)

I suspect that if no one bites after a day or two, prices will fall quickly since these aren't collectors.

I'm waiting for the Baller Trout to drop below $25 shipped before I pick one up. Based on the PR, I think it will probably happen soon.

Even the last four releases can't be picked up for less than $25 shipped presale.

I still don't the the flipper mentality when it comes to this. Why on earth would you flip right away and barely make any money.. After fees and many with free shipping you are pretty much. A large majority of these cards will sell for significantly more than what they are getting. Imagine all the people who flipped the Ermsy Trout/Gooden, or the early Griffey and Icihro for $17.95

None TBP. NONE I TELL YA!!!

This thread has become an addiction. It's the first thread I go to on BO all day long. At work tomorrow, I'll be doing the same thing.

I'm really curious moving forward, how these 5K+ print runs are going to hold up moving forward. I could see stagnation happening soon as far as cards #'s 60+. People moving more towards artist/player collecting instead of buying a sh*t to of each card? Will this change people's mindsets towards other sets parallels numbered to 5K or less realizing that that is not a large number to begin with.

I guess we'll see within the next 300+ cards.

If you buy 30 of any card, turn around and pre-sell 10 of them at cost, you get your name out there as a reliable seller. Wait for the next small bump to $25-$30 and sell another 10. The remaining are where they make the money back, and might only sell 2 at a time. Dump the profits back into each new two pack release after catching your breath on the weekend (and raking in the weekend sales).

I haven’t posted much in here the past couple days- but I still think everyone who is trying to invest is sleeping on Chang!!! Her ichiro is already $30.

Her Jackie is an earlyish card at #31 and can be had for only $60.

Her Gibson is already up to $120 now with that disgustingly low print run still has legs.

There’s even a Mariano up for $160 and more for $175- it’s a first 10 run at #8 with a 1600 print run.

The Jackie is a great cop at $60 still IMO and I picked up another at that price. A lot of you have started to flip a card or two- and some of you can easily flip a card to grab some. Don’t miss out!!!!

There are no Blake Mattingly cards under $100, unless it's a seller who is desperate or isn't paying attention.

Some key cards from this set will be:

First cards of a player
First card from a popular artist
Lowest print run from for a player
Lowest print run for a popular artist
Lowest overall print run
5 lowest print runs

Based on a projected print run for the entire set, would Beck's Gooden be considered a super short print?

PR for Gooden = 1065
PR for set (through card #76) = 316,625
PR for set (projected) ~ 1.67 Million

Note: Projected PR for the set is based on PR to-date so this number likely too low.

In relation to where they are now and the growth to come yes.. I would say a print run under 1500 would be constituted as SSP with this set.

Another heads up.. Star Wars collectors are not aware of the Clemente JK5 card. Featuring Clemente in a Mandalorian helmet, and also Vader likeness on the card. That will most definitely create some cross over.
