I make plenty of money but enjoy the hunt of finding the products at MSRP. Doesn’t mean people don’t have a life. I’m not that lazy that I am willing to pay a $125 fee for a mega.

On another note there was no Mosaic to be found but I was able to clean out a shelf of 2019 Update which I think is very underrated. 26 hanging packs and 12 hanging boxes.

This. All of this. I make a pretty darn good living. I also enjoy looking for these things though. I am beginning to realize that in my area, the people who are getting them have an "in" so it's fairly pointless to try all that hard. I might just start buying retail products on eBay as they release since it seems people are quick to unload for a little bit of profit. Bought a lot of Mosaic hanger boxes for around $40 or less a few days after release. Those are already starting to creep up. If I win any in razzes, I usually open those since they're on the cheap.

These Mosaic's are going to be one of a kind. Distrabution happened in the middle of of world wide pandemic. The 19-20 Mosaics I feel will be a rare year for collectors. Some are freaking out at the prices for resale and retail. I will only trend up. Panini isnt dumb and wont flood the market and crash the value of mosaic by over printing just because its re-selling 5x

These cards will allways be worth something and will only trend up in price over time.

Does anyone else see blasters in stock at Target's website? I got an alert at 6:30am this morning. I didn't see it until an hour and a half later. It's now 11:30am and the Target app and website both show blasters in stock but whenever I hit the "Ship It" button I get an error message. I've probably hit the button 200 times in the past three hours just in case it works.

That's what I do. I resell to buy more cards. As I said, it's just like buying a card to flip. Buying boxes to flip is just the same way as long as you put the profit back into the hobby. I'm working on a 1957 Topps baseball set, and if I can make $100 profit on my 2 boxes (selling for around $250), that's a free $100 to put toward that set.

Found 2 blasters at target today, pretty happy as never found optic and only ever found a gravity feed of prizm. Got debuts of zion and ja, green giannis mvp and a green luka insert as main hits.

Ebay is flooded with Mosaic retail. Other people are hoarding it (It's the cool thing to do these days). Just ask the member who posts that picture of his 1,000 retail boxes of Prizm and Optic all the time!

Are you sure its that short printed, or are the bots and people who have the time to lurk at targets/Walmarts just buying it all up? I also think the people who find it, are leaving none behind these days. That was not always the case before with previous releases.

There are more strictly resellers in the game now, venturing over from other hustles, like sneakers and toys. Only going to get more competitive.

bots and resellers are definitely on it.

if anyone is not familiar with stockx, they’re really promoting basketball cards as the next big thing so i can see these becoming a huge problem down the line, unfortunately.


for fun, i checked the feedbacks of some of these resellers on ebay and i wasn’t surprised that they were also sneaker resellers with no trace of selling basketball cards before.

competition is about to get pretty bad and what sucks about this is you got players like that dippin into that collectors money for the simple fact that they just want to make a profit, which is fine by me but i feel bad for some old collectors who are in this for the passion of collecting.

New outside interest may propel the box prices up and make for more competition, but thankfully we will continue to have a stream of singles hit the market due to the breakers. Otherwise it would turn into a sealed product hobby and we would see very few cards hit the market.

So if new “collectors” are just in for the profit and kept products sealed, wouldnt this increase the value of singles due to perceived scarcity? And also increase the price of sealed wax if they are not being released in the market - are we royally screwed both ways???
