I'm pretty sure both Haaland and Sancho will have autos in it. I hope Reyna does as well.

I think it's strange how the Bundesliga chrome design is one year behind the UEFA CL chrome design. Has anyone else noticed that? The CL is following the Topps baseball design each year, but Bundesliga is one year behind. Not that it matters, but still strange.

Yeah, won't TC UEFA have Fati in it as well? And Felix autos?

Plus all the other studs.

I get the draw for Haaland's first cards and autos, but if I had to choose, which at this point, I will since I didn't get any pre-orders in at those $650 a case prices, I think I'm going with UEFA, which is now less than Bundesliga.

I think they're both great products for different reasons, hard to go wrong with either one. I'll end up buying both I'm sure. Can't wait to pull Joao auto, but I'll probably go with Finest for his autos.

I love the idea of grabbing autos for some of the youngsters who have yet to sign anything, but I’m just skeptical of sticker autos holding much value in the long term. If you’re looking for a quick flip I’m sure they would do just fine, but I’m dying for soccer to have more on-card options.

Panini needs to release a standalone Donruss Optic product for soccer and carry on the on card autos of Optic in other sports tradition. Their on-card autos look so clean, especially the colored parallel autos.

That would be absolute fire in this current soccer climate

I feel eventually we will see more. I guess since the cards are produced in the states and most of the players stay overseas, it's not as easy to get the cards to the players to sign as it is for the other sports that are played in the states. Easier to send a bunch of stickers that if they get lost or damaged in shipping, it's not a huge loss, compared to a bunch of cards that will have to get reprinted.

Yep....there are tons of talented young players out there....but outside of the very small community of die-hard soccer fans, most people have never heard of them.

At this point the hype train is waaaaaaaaay out ahead of reality.

Imagine if you had paid $500-600 for a Julian Green card back in 2013?

Whomever ends up being the owners of these cards when these players turn out to be merely "good", instead of the next Messi/CR7, is going to take a huge financial bath.

Aim small miss small. The point is to buy before they explode and the risk is actually quite small and the ceiling is quite high. Most people in the know were buying Sancho and Mbappe well before prices exploded into the stratosphere.

For instance, if you bought an Mbappe Topps Chrome blue refractor at current market prices and he tanks for some weird reason you would be done for from a financial standpoint. If you bought in a few months back and he doesn’t pan out, eh you’ll live.

Some people like to gamble, but I am not rich enough to do that. Buy some Davies, Havertz, Vinicius, Foden, Fati etc. right now and there is a lot of potential with very little risk. Just don’t wait for everyone to get excited about someone to buy in.

Prospecting is out of control in baseball, but in soccer people are realizing it is being severely underutilized. Don’t expect it to slow down any time soon

Everybody is missing mason greenwood from their lists. He have scored 14 goals this season with manchester united. He is only 18 years old

Great player, tons of upside, just no great card options. He’s definitely on the “please make a premium rookie of” list!

Exactly. If it’s for a PC that’s fine, but Adrenalyn isn’t revving anyone’s engines from a value perspective.

People said the same thing about the 'trash fleer retro' in 2012-2015 produced by UD. Look at them now !!

Hey hope you’re right as I love to see the whole market grow, not just cards I happen to own. However, I would be shocked to see this particular product gain any traction.

If Greenwood (plus Martinelli, Saka and Gilmour from the Premier League) don't get any hobby releases I think the main beneficiary will be their Panini's, that's what usually happens. However I'm optimistic that one or two at least will make it into Chronicles as it tends to be rookie / prospect driven, well as least in Basketball it is but this is the first year with football so let's see.

Opened half so far. I'll create a thread in the case break section to show off once I finish. This really is a lot of fun, tons of color and I feel I'm doing pretty good so far.

Pull any Havertz color?

I agree about Mason Greenwood, but he has no cards currently I'm interested in.
