We have not had a issue with every product, we've completed in the neighborhood of 3k plus transactions. Yes there has been some issues with some customers in which we could have handled it better but we learned from those and our goal is not to make those mistakes again as it should be

Lol have you been on this forum? A lot of people give sarcastic answers to people who dont have 1000 posts it is bad sometimes. I also notice in this instance the business did communicate about mosaic and people get upset? So seems like if the business does communicate they lose and if they dont they lose.

Now about the past issue... You are telling me this guy ordered in OCT and didn't get anything by Feb and didn't contact his credit card company about fraud? I mean no offense if i dropped a bunch of money and wasn't getting a response I would send an email like hey if you dont respond I am calling my card company asap. I do feel for him though to have to deal with that and if that is how it happened that is very not cool.

All about the hobby is not trustworthy in my experience and I’ve heard bad things about them as well. I’ve emailed them multiple times about an order I currently have and haven’t heard back

I honestly don't care enough and I think you missed the point of the post count comment. You seem pretty offend about me saying someone could be telling the truth about not getting their whole PO(purchase order) during a pandemic when Panini did have to close momentarily. You could be right they could be a horrible company and have horrible customer service. I think my point was more they also might not be lying about this because it is pretty easy to prove wrong.

I already said its probably right..but how will they handle it..they say spread it evenly..im sorry given their record i dont trust them plain and simple and have reason not to given their past

I get it. I honestly have no skin in the game but if it is true it is good enough to know because these prices are going to sky rocket. That is kind of why I said what I was saying. If people were thinking about buying and thinking these prices were high then it will only get higher from here. I would like to see if this information gets confirmed.

This is the conundrum for businesses.

I don't know if this is factual or not but if it is this company has no control over it and as I have some boxes on the shelf I am happy because the price just went up as well as my loose stuff.

If it is not factual and the business is making a ruse in order to reprice them and make more money ...is that ethical, moral... or just good business sense (without the lie).

Who here has a Panini contact and can confirm or deny this? I am sure you could probably even get this answer over a phone call with a rep if you could get through.

Theres a walmart 3 miles from me that says on their website its in stock but when I go (I went on sunday and just now) the card section hasnt been re-stocked in weeks.

I wasn't trying to turn this into "hate on some vendor" but rather "be prepared for disappointment." I was never able to find Optic in the wild, I'm not going to bother even looking for this if there is the same interest with less supply.

I don’t know enough about the pre-sale business (NDAs, etc), but wondering if @Allaboutthehobby could say why you aren’t allowed to share the email you received from panini?

Wouldn’t that dispel all doubt/naysayers?

Maybe it’s just me, but I’d be pretty pissed if I was the messenger everyone was “shooting” based on information I was just relaying from the source

Make sure you guys check to see if you have anything on your Target app "saved for later" list. If you have Mosaic there, you are pretty much guaranteed to get at least 1 in the next online re-stock assuming you are decently quick when you receive the notification.

I have one in there now and can't wait for the next reload.

BTW, it gets added to that list if you were trying to check out and the item sells out beforehand.

As a formal complainant RE: Optic, here's a basic summary of what happened with Prizm/Optic:

  • Pre-orders required payment in full, which is not industry standard
  • Communication was horrible, delays in shipments were not addressed until multiple concerns were posted on FB page
  • Even when they apparently received shipment, product was not forwarded on to customers and excuses were made about why not. At some point there was a post of a Zion that came out of one of the cases with stamping misprint, and there was a post saying they were returning the batch back to Panini, despite customers saying they were willing to take it. (Also, what are they doing opening product that should be shipped out?)
  • Graded singles were posted on their social media account
  • Negative comments were removed from their social media account
  • Refunds were issued with no other communication
  • Claims were made that "some" or "half" of orders were fulfilled, but PMs with posters here and on FB yielded no positive results. Comparison of order dates and numbers appear to have me in the very beginning of Optic orders, and I was refunded with no comment. I do not believe "half" or even any Optic orders were fulfilled as I was definitely one of the first. I had the site bookmarked for Prizm and found Optic within a day of posting (I used to cycle through various sites bookmarked every morning)
  • They have not yet replied to State AG

Not saying they are guilty of anything, but there's definitely a pattern here that leaves many of us suspicious.

I dont buy that production is less. Panini's not that stupid. In anothet note, my lcs informed me he's getting in 2 honby cases of mosaic and somehow got 1 case of blasters too so production is there.
