They took the risk. That's part of investing.
UD/Topps always had expiration dates it was only time before Panini did too.

Guess what...lot of those expired boxes from UD/Topps never dropped in price anyway.

Glad I was able to read this thread and redeemed my one sole redemption which expires later this year. Good to go with that.

Sucks for those who have hoarded cases and boxes of older Panini products with higher value redemptions. I wish Panini would give like a few months heads up with this news before shutting it down completely. Really not fair...

Where was this blockbuster lawsuit in 2015 when Topps Diamond Football came out? I’m sure Panini will be crippled and go bankrupt because of it.

Thanks for the heads up! Not sure if this is a policy reversal or a temporary change, but I was just able to redeem 2. I got a popup saying Panini is the only company in the industry that works with customers on expired redemptions, and they'll either send the card if they have it or offer half the value in points.

This is good to know, guys. Back to the previous status quo it looks like. Must have gotten many complaints from distributors and large retailers.
