That said, the book it still better than the movie. That one and "11-22-63" are Stephen King's best books this century, and maybe in his Top 10 of all time.
I'm going to have to check that extended cut out. Thanks!

Maybe I missed the trailers, as I don't watch a lot of TV, but has anyone heard anything about this "The Lodge" movie that's out now? Saw the trailer and it looks decent.
Who's rushing out to see that?

My go to recommendation, horror movie, is always The Descent. Most horror fans have seen it, but you never know.

I just got back from seeing The Lodge, and I think it's one of the best movies I've ever seen. Went in completely blind, hadn't even seen a trailer for it, and it was just wonderfully done.

It feels like a couple other movies have aimed to make something like this in the past few months, but this is an absolute success where others failed. I peeked at the audience scores on RT and am quite frankly confused, but haven't dug into reading why those people are so wrong yet. I can think of a few things people may not have liked, but not on that scale.

But make sure to catch the not-USA theatrical version which has an ending that made test audiences happy and set up a crappy sequel. The rest of the world got a wayyyyy better ending to the movie.

Doesn’t look good at all. Hope the trailer is just bad and the movie is better.

The Invisible Man was pretty good. Don't want to talk spoilers, but I do wonder what everyone things the truth is in this movie.

I agree it was a solid movie. I think everything they showed was the truth. Vague spoilers below in an attempt to answer.

He did most of it. She is. There was some help, but not much.

I thought it was kind of slow and plot holes galore but the ending was pretty great and that more than made up for it. Still worth watching IMO. I'm such a big Blumhouse fan that I'll see anything their name is attached to and have yet to be disappointed.

I saw it and thought it was harmless fun. It was ridiculous, made no sense and over the top but it was funnier than I expected. Not something I'd recommend but it's also not something I was mad I saw. Pretty much what I expected.

Agree with this. Not much else to explain. Pretty much explained, no real twist, what you saw was exactly what happened. Good for her for doing what she did.

Watched The Hunt yesterday. Well worth the watch. Had quite a few funny parts that had me chuckling throughout the movie.

I asked my girlfriend if there was anything worth watching on Netflix last night. She starts a movie and I watch it for a few minutes and ask if it is “ Outbreak”. Sure was. Top 10 streaming right now I guess. Haven’t watched it in many years. Not a bad watch considering what’s going on now. I wouldn’t recommend anyone watch it if they are already on edge and think end times are near.

Carriers, Contagion, Andromeda Strain, and Panic in the Streets. All good movies to entertain, or send you into bunker mode, in these times.

Not horror really but "The Platform" on Netflex isn't bad. Its comparable to "The Cube" movies.

Nope next...just got all comfy to watch The Shape of Water.
5 minutes in and this is not a horror film.
Thought this was Creature from the Black Lagoon style creture feature film

Shall search for another movie

I liked Calvaire and Martyrs (the original, not the American remake).
