LOL. I am bi-partisan. Didn't vote in the last election () because both candidates are horribly immoral people. However, that reporter (I know nothing of his history) was an absolute renob.

Here's the truth: this is not a very deadly disease, and we are very afraid of something that we should not be afraid of. So yes, take precautions, do your part, but don't be afraid, unless you are 70 and in bad health, which in that case if you're not aware your end could come at anytime I don't know what else to say.

No I don't, because we all know those numbers are still extremely low due to poor testing abilities and this isn't something that kills someone right when they catch it, it takes weeks and sometimes up to 8 weeks until someone passes away from it.

So it's there are "already" that many deaths when this really hasn't spread all too far yet considering it's only been hitting some of these states for about a week or so now.

And people aren't just afraid of catching the virus and dying, they're afraid of all the ramifications of what is going on right now, it's a scary time right now about things beyond just catching the virus. It's about the lack of supplies at stores, it's about people losing their jobs, it's about the economy crashing.

Yes we knew those things would happen, but it doesn't make it easier for people at home waiting it out and I don't think there is anything wrong asking for the President what his message is to those people, that's part of his job right now, to show compassion.

It's been here for 2 moths now. If you feel like 200 is "that many" I can't help you there. I do agree about being compassionate, and if you just listened to Mike Pence he said the exact same thing just nicer. Here's a paraphrase of Pence:

Reporter: "What do you say to people that are afraid?"
Pence: "Don't be afraid. The risks are very, very low. Older people and people with autoimmune disorders are at high risk and we should take precautions to protect them. Pretty much everyone else has moderate or no symptoms at all."

Like I said before, the scary part is the job loss and the economy and the fallout from that; the fallout from the fears the media has caused everyone. And I'm not on a high horse; pretty sure I'm gonna lose my job too. Sucks. being "here" is not the same thing as being everywhere, it was contained to Washington for a while and then only spread to a couple other states initially.

Michigan, where I live, didn't have it's first confirmed case until about 10 days ago, and that is the case for the majority of states. So saying it's been here for 2 months is just not really fair in that sense.
