Avoid the doldrums right now: PWE giving thread?

So this COVID crap is affecting a lot of people. I'm currently out of work myself. But the hobby SHOULD keep us happy, right? It is a hobby after all! I think it'd be fun to do some low-end giving to other collectors, PWE style. Many of us are on a budget to begin with and that'll be strained or completely put on hold right now, understandably so.

I love the generosity of the people on this board and have tried to give back in the limited capacity in which I'm able. So in the current state of worry and uncertainty, let's shine a little light. What do you say???

We can all list who we collect or what (teams, sets, card types, etc.) and if someone happens to have a card or 3 they don't mind releasing from their collection, you can PM that person for their info. I'd just ask that anyone who gets something, gives something to someone else if they are able to keep the generosity going!

Hope some of you are in the community are up for this little venture. Let's see what we can do

Can't believe this hasn't got any more traction. We have so many nice people on here ready to give away cards, but no one wants to say what they collect and get cards sent to them?!?! I recently lost my job due to coronavirus, but am really lucky and am not in any sort of dire state that I know some people will be in if this lasts a few months.

So, here's what I collect, it's not likely anyone has any of these, but I want to post this here so others will follow suit and post what they collect. I certainly will dig through boxes for anyone on here... it's something to do during this quarantine!!!

Currently I collect 17/18 Spectra Neon Green Parallels /49 and serial numbered parallels to the 13/14 Pinnacle Clear Vision insert set. Random and not likely since they are numbered, I know. But let's get this rolling people!

I'm looking to put together sets of the 19 20 Optic inserts if anyone wants to contribute. Base/holos/parallels...you name it, I'll take it.

Would enjoy being a part of getting this rolling.

I collect base rookies. I have really been getting into them a lot lately. 18-19 Prizm and 18-19 Optic. For some reason, I love the look of them all.

I also love older base rookies, Shaq, Iverson, T-Mac, Duncan, Robinson, etc. I just love them all.

I love sorting and organizing cards and with the upcoming time off/social disconnecting, I would love to have more cardboard to sort and organize.

I, also, hope that I can help someone else out from this thread......

glad to see some replies! @Dajuan I might have some 18-19 Prizm RCs buried somewhere I opened a few retail of that last year just to scratch the wax itch haha. Probably have low-end older base RCs of some stars as well

My 9-year old son got me back into the hobby last year. He and I share basketball cards, among our other interests. He he has become an NBA trivia buff of sorts. He probably knows more about 50s-70s NBA players than most adults.

My son personally collects Allen Iverson, Damian Lillard, and CJ McCollum.

I collect Showtime to Kobe era Lakers, yes, even through the Ceballos years!

I've been looking to finish another 19-20 prizm base set, ~25 cards away. Almost all vets except for maybe five of the non-valuable rookies. Have a laundry list to trade away too so if anybody is interested in good old fashioned trading please let me know
