Bgs reslab?

I just purchased a Brady rookie for a nice price. The slab is extremely scuffed and scratched. The card was graded by bgs. I am looking at getting it reslabbed. How long does it take to get a card reslabbed by bgs? Does it take as long as getting a card graded?

Before the reslab, try buffing the slab out with compound or wax. Not sure about reslab times tho

Not sure what the turnaround time is if you only submit a reslab. But if you throw it in with another order, it’s done at that service level for $5.

looks like there’s a little crack at the tops and right side. It should have arrive in the next two days, but based on the pictures, it looks pretty rough.

I had a black label card get re-slabbed last year around october. It was essentially in and out. I think they got it on a Monday and it was back in the mail headed to me on Wednesday.

With that said, Beckett just discontinued guaranteed turnaround times. I bring this up as it indicates that Beckett appears to be swamped with more orders than they can handle. So don't be surprised to see it possibly take a week.

However, if I were you, I would go ahead and send it in NOW! Considering all the issues with corona virus and Beckett's backlog, I would hurry up before there is either a longer wait time due to backlog or some issue dealing with deliveries due to government intervention.

This is why I hesitated to send anything to PSA considering California will be one of the first states to see some level of complete shutdown should this virus deal get truly out of hand.

Thank you for the informative response. I will probably go ahead and ship to them as soon as it arrives. Sounds like you don’t have to wait as long as if you were getting a card graded.

Used some headlight cleaner. It’s not as good as new....but it made a 90% improvement! Highly recommend. I won’t be sending it off now.
