Will do, but I don't sell or even grade too much. Couple are even crack outs. 45/50 still in the bgs inner sleeve, I think. Quit drinking the psa kool-aid a couple years back. Was #7 on the basic mantle registry when I noticed some inner nefarious things occur on the registry and weights.

I like it. You’re one of VERY few high end modern collectors not obsessed with the 10s. This is not a stance I see often on these boards.
Nothing at all against those who do slabs, just refreshing to find someone who doesn’t at that level of card.

Fair enough. This is one card I’m going for. Don’t want to get into unnecessary bidding wars with other good collectors.

Used to be, no doubt. The kool aid was strong. I can only compare my awakening to that of the Wizard of Oz scene when The Great Oz's machine breaks down and he's exposed for a tiny little midget. I felt like Dorothy just standing there going "WTF?". I am still guilty of buying and selling/trading those slabs, but have not submit in close to 3 years now despite my overwhelming stacks of Soto, Acuna and Torres. The urge is strong but every time I sit down at my desk to start filling out the submission, I stop. Am completely free of any PWCC purchases in the last 3 years as well. I am still owed a couple of explanations from Brent & Betsy on an consignment in which a couple of bidders were stopped from being able to bid on a '51 mantle psa/dna 3. The group of signed mantle collectors, especially those realistically in the market for a real '51b is very small. Found out that 2 bidders, now buddies, bids were blocked in the final minutes. Be very curious if Mosier bought it and just waiting to see if it pops back up above a 4.5, which would then make it the highest.

When a raw one comes to market and you are seriously in the running, let me know and i'll hold back. It would be pure insanity to think one could obtain them all. That was just a little inside joke with Tom. Any of the graded ones still available, I've submitted decent offers on, so those are no gos for me. I just bought the graded one in the pic on here last week. Will be in my next garage cracking session. Eye gear extremely important with the thick bgs cases and new shattering lighthouse labels.
