Basketball, I have a problem supporting Panini baseball products they should only be allowed to produce the sports they have the full license for.

Speaking of drama, what is everyone's take on celebrating a birthday for someone who is dead?

So everyone but the oldest SD is here tonight because today would have been my FIL's 80th birthday. We had Chinese food (one of his favorites) and a birthday cake (no candles lit) to celebrate.

I think it's a little off the rocker. Funny thing is that my wife made fun of the youngest SD's boyfriend's Mom because she does this for her Dad who has been dead for 3 years. Then she justifies tonight by saying my FIL has been dead less than a year.

Never has my family done this sort of thing.

Friday is the funeral for the kid who is in my youngest SDs Criminal Justice Program at high school. He was a straight A student with a Father and Uncle who are both Prince George's County Homicide Detectives. He was gunned down by 3 other teenagers because it turns out he was a drug dealer and screwed some people over.

How are you a drug dealer when your Father is a cop in the same house?

I come home from work every once in a while and my MIL will have it on TV. Not sure how we can have so many turds in this country that they continue to have programming for these types of shows.

Happens way too often sadly.

First year or two I get it, as it is tough. Especially if less than 6 months before birthday.

Have you gotten offers before? Where did you get the $300 amount from?
see if he'd come up to $150 and take it.
