HBO has the documentary "McMillions", which examines the criminal conspiracy that undermined the popular McDonald's restaurant Monopoly game-piece sweepstakes of the 1990's. It's a 6-parter, and they've taken the unusual step (these days) of airing one show per week as opposed to making the whole thing available at once.

Episode 2 airs tomorrow night after a solid premiere last week. For those without the patience, wait about a month, and you can catch the whole thing then.

I finally got DC Universe...binged all of Titans and part of Doom Patrol this weekend.

Titans = Awesome...there was were some issues with this show like consequences for actions, but for the most part very enjoyable. i would compare this to The Boyz in a lot of ways except the "heroes" really do care about trying to do the right thing, and their bad moments are accidents or losing control of their abilities.

Doom Patrol = one of the best comic book TV shows I've seen. This is better than The Boyz, and one of the weirdest shows I've seen. I'm only about half way through this, but the character in this show are amazing. Acting is great. Effects are great. Alan Tudyk is the villain and is awesome.

So Doom Patrol is the best thing that DC has done on TV or in the films. This show is amazing. I highly recommend it if you haven't watched.

I started watching Entourage again as it's been a while since I have watched it. Still such a good show.

Plus it doesn't hurt when you get to meet Ari

Been watching a bunch of Sopranos off and on lately. So good....
Interesting that during Christopher's intervention he yells at Tony
the way he eats everything in sight he'll die of a heart attack by age 50(Gandolfini died of one at age 51 in real life)

As it seems to happen every now and again, I convince myself that True Detective Season One must not be as good as I remember it. Binge watched it for the fourth time while my wife was out of town last week and, as it happens every time I watch it, I was blown away again at how good it is/was. May be my all time #1.

Excited to dig in to the new Better Call Saul - trying to save that one till I have time to get through it all in relatively short order.

The three part documentary about George Washington titled Washington on the History channel is really good.

Even people that are not history buffs would probably like it.

Netflix Series "The Pharmacist"

Episode 1 isn't all that great, but kind of lays the ground work. The rest of the series is pretty good.

It gives a decent glimpse of how the "big pharma" system works. The lynchpin is having doctors that DGAF about actual patient care. It shows how the docs get away with scams for so long. It shows how vindictive the system is to anyone that calls out the BS. It shows how after all is said and done, the justice is never meted out fairly for the companies and docs responsible to ruining thousands of lives.

While it focuses on this single NOLA suburb, this *crap* happened across the nation. Worth a watch if you've got the time.

Also, "the pharmacist" is a weird dude; not unlike most pharmacists. Not that I'd know anything about that...

Started watching LEGO Masters with my Son as we are both into LEGOs.

I gave Amy Poehler's new animated show "Duncanville" a try on Sunday night. It wasn't bad.

I recently binged all of season 1 of Daybreak on Netflix and loved the hell out of it... only to find out they cancelled it and wonder why I wasted my time.

Buckle up... Its a fun ride!

Been hitting Curb Your Enthusiasm, just started season 6. Pretty sure this was the last season I watched. Some of the early series episodes are pure gold. I forgot how good this show is.
