I do believe he should be there, the tweet that crossed the line that was mentioned was taken down for obvious reasons. There is nothing wrong with the other one. I won't say more than that

The racist comments about Iranian women were bad but he deleted it.
Who cares about his political stance. Republican or Democrat is irrelevant to sports. That's not worthy of preclusion, if it factored into the Giants' decision.

Huff is an idiot but he should've been invited. Also, you have to love the moral superiority of the Giants owner who was caught on video tossing his wife to the ground not even a year ago. Quality dude there.

Nah..he has a bullseye on his ass.
SF will torch him when he shows up. I will welcome him with open arms. |

According to Fangraphs, he had a 5.7 WAR in 2010. Led the team in runs, hits, HR, RBI, and OBP.

Politically incorrect comments by a baseball player. What a shock.

What does this even mean?
If the Giants want to ban any comedian out there from a Giants sanctioned event? That's their call. They wouldn't be banning a comedian from being a comedian or saying anything they want to say. No one is banning Huff from doing anything outside of showing up for a Giants run reunion.

I actually don't have a strong opinion either way on him being excluded, but it's the Giants party, they get to decide who they want to attend.

Bigger problem I have is "cancel culture" to diminish accomplishments when people say not only dumb/childish things, but anything that one doesn't agree with. I mean, Huff ain't wrong when he talks about the hypocrisy with Baer shoving his wife..

Clay Travis is just pointing out the obvious (and what he says is true). So if you think the truth is stupid annoying then I guess I understand why it bothers you. Last edited by jrg1128; 02-18-2020 at 05:12 PM. |

Anyway, as I stated, if I were a Giants fan I’d be pissed. Maybe even enough to not be a fan of the team anymore. |

I have no idea what he said but to not invite him seems petty to me unless he said remarks against the Giants as team or organization.

Difference between a comedian and Huff is that Huff is not a comedian. If you read the whole exchange, he isn’t coming from a place of joking
