I’m having a hard time wrapping myself around Sapphire. The base Acuna is worth about 3x the RC auto from the same set. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before in sports cards. Is it just because “bat down” has become so iconic?

And the auto is a terrible picture, horizontal, and he's wearing the wrong number.

Profit/reinvestment but I didn't buy any Juan's. I would have kept Acuna over investing into Juan...at that time.

The only "regret" is selling a White SSP PSA 10 early 2018.

Story: I bought raw on 1/15/2018 - sent to PSA. Listed in March for a crazy BIN/OBO. PSA 10's were selling for around $800 at the time. I received an offer slightly over highest sale and declined. Received another one almost instantly from the same gentleman at $1100 and still declined. Received another one at $1400 and was like hmmm. The Ebay account had minimum transactions. I was skeptical but didn't write him off as a scammer. I ended up messaging him and he was a sports doctor in ATL. Everything checked out and the sale happened. Hard to pass up 3x profit after two months from purchase. It's a good story.

Personally agree. The value of sapphire makes zero sense to me. There are 20 cards of his that I would rather have, than sapphire.

It is nice. Very sparkly. I just think this design is so cool. That's one of the great things about parallels. Everyone has different taste.

Not too much more. Rough guess is that there are 325-375 Blue Auto's of each Non-SP Blue player and another 86 #'d Color Auto's so somewhere around 410-460 Auto's total of each player. Base has a little under 300 total made (roughly 296 by most estimates - 285 Base, 10 Red, 1 Super)

Good call. I looked at the odds and assuming equal distribution of blue autos, it comes out to 384 blue autos per player. I guess the picture and the card being horizontal really does make that big of a difference.

Love that card also! Have it in my Acuna PC as well. There is something to be said about the excitement he can bring to a "game".

For the card I posted, just love the swag on the front and the joy on the back.
