Default So is PSA scanning graded cards onto their site now?

Checked the cert for this card and a front/back scan showed up as well:

https://www.psacard.com/cert/44112273/

If this has already been discussed, delete or merge this. Didn't see another thread on it.

Yep and there’s already trimmed cards scanned up there for all to view.

Someone can dig up the link to one of the trimmed SoTT Brees cards I made a thread on if they want.

Yes, they're rolling it out. They started on the higher submission and reslabbing submissions. I think SGC is planning on scanning every card in the submission, at some point.

Is SGC going to sponsor your YT channel? Because that would be a 90s WWF-style heel turn.

Oh, SGC has long promised things that they never delivered on, and it should be out on Monday. I think that's what TBP was joking about.

I’m still waiting on my PSA sponsorship. Do I need to make YouTube videos?

At last year's NSCC, the SGC rep promised me that the SGC pop report would be up and running the day after the national, they were just finalizing it...still waiting for the report to be up all these months later. You think they would expand their staffing appropriately do be responsive to these core customer service areas...

Speaking of SGC, does anyone know if I can submit to them and request the old labels? The new ones look awful

Geez can you imagine the backlog of psa/bgs did this, decades waiting to get a card back.

Scg was great for vintage.

Wow, this is huge news. I would like to think this is a result of consumer pressures, including the work of those on this website. Chalk it up as one victory folks. Excellent work!!

You would have the most fascinating YT channel!

I could picture it in Anonymous style news briefings like this, so your identity is never revealed. Seriously, run with it...

I recently submitted some cards to PSA, and I just checked and the scans appear with the certification number. Very cool.

Anyone want to wager how quickly they’ll screw this up and re-grade a serial numbered card they already graded?

Sounds like they have been taking customer service tips from COMC

It will be more of a mess as people will start imagining alterations when comparing scans, unfortunately. PSA will be thinking these scans will help the hobby self-police, lessening their own burden.

But of greater concern is that tons of scanned cards will already be altered.

But any scan is good for the record.

Something is better than nothing I guess. I get what your saying though. The real issue is whether or not PSA can improve their detection rate.

I think the real issue is whether PSA deserves consumer trust. I doubt they’ll be able to get back what they (undeservedly) had before.

I guess it depends on who you define as the consumer. They don’t have mine, I will educate myself on a card. Unfortunately I’m starting to think that the majority feel the service they provide is good enough.
