How about acknowledging teachers who are underpaid and do whats right ??
Wait that’s all of those who teach are ynderpaid
And those who do right dont get noticed

two butthurt posts already that was fast. Teachers get plenty of money and recognition for doing a subpar job and getting three months off a year

Teachers are very much underpaid and underappreciated. Their work doesn't stop at school. They have to still work at home as well. Yes they get three months off a year from school, but alot of teachers get summer jobs to keep income coming in.

Not to mention having to deal with the attitudes of other peoples kids.

If you're underpaid and underappreciated and it bothers you, then do something about it There are tons of people underpaid and underappreciated in this world.

The US education system has continued to decline in world rankings and yet the DOE has continued to rise in funding. weird

Seems like maybe if you do your research and still decide to go to school and get a degree in something you know will leave you underpaid and underappreciated, that's a "you" thing.

So...as the population increases and we have to build more schools, hire more teachers, and increase programs the funding should decrease?

You should dive into those countries at the top of the list and see how they fund education and pay teachers.
