Default RIP card ripped gives me 1/1 Wood Pujols!

EDIT: This card is now available for auction!

2011 Topps Allen & Ginter Albert Pujols Mini SP EXT Wood 1/1 + Ripped Bautista | eBay

Hey there,
I recently traded for a 2011 Allen & Ginter Bautista RIP CARD and inside I got this bad boy, a Albert Pujols Wood Mini #366!!!!!!!! A very odd thing I noticed is that there is no 1/1 stamping on the bottom of the card directly in the center like there are on other Mini Wood cards. Is this card still a 1/1? I thought all Wood Mini's were 1/1 but there is no stamp to reflect that compared to other wood mini's I saw for sale on ebay. Does anyone know?

Do you think this is maybe topps defect or possibly they did not want to stamp or write directly on top of the stats (where the 1/1 stamping should be)? Does anyone know? Are all woods 1/1? Thanks in advance!

Here's a Youtube vid of my RIP as I ripped!!!!

Its a wood card BUT even though we all know woods are 1/1's its not stamped 1/1 so if you sell on ebay dont put 1/1 anywhere lol

I think the seller should still put 1/1 in the listing. It is a 1/1, so I do not have a problem with that as long as the seller does not put #'ed 1/1.

If I were to put it up I will not be putting #'ed 1/1 but will probably just put 1/1 once I confirm with Topps. I have sent them an email with pics and am waiting back for their confirmation, just so that I may be 100% sure!

Great hit ! What was the rip card numbered too, and it should be hand numbered on the back 1/1.

One other thing I noticed is that the card itself is a high sp #366.

The other wood cards I've seen on ebay that have the 1/1 marking are all LOW non SP #'d cards. So maybe they aren't tagging the high sp's then? So there should be a mini wood Pujols card from the base set (#100) which might be #'d 1/1!

So this one might be even more special you think? Thoughts?

Here's an example of a mini wood marked 1/1 which is a base set # card.

I don't think they stamp the high numbered minis 1/1, I ran into the same thing when I pulled the wood mini Joe Mauer out of a Billy Butler /75 rip card. I sent pics to topps to confirm via twitter the day after Ginter came out and they never responded.

In the past the mini rip exclusive wood cards have not been numbered, but they are in fact 1/1 just as the wood minis from the base set are. I don't know why Topps does it this way, but it has been like this for the past two years at least.

These 1 of 1's are not "stamped" 1/1 is hand written so it's not really surprising that they missed one. It doesn't mean it's not a 1 of 1. Here are others that show it's written on.

That is really good info, thanks trueyankeeblue! So far that's the only other high sp non numbered wood mini I have seen so far. I submitted pics as well to topps and I did get an incident # so I hope they respond in some way. Thanks again!

Yes I think that all mini woods are hand numbered and not stamped. I thought I saw a stamped version while looking around online and maybe just mistook the low res pic as it being stamped on. Every time I see a numbered one they all seem penned in.

Woods from the Rip Cards have never been numbered, but are 1/1s.

I would just go ahead and write 1/1 on the card myself. Nobody will know except for us.

Well, since all woods are 1/1, the exclusives aren't exactly a shorter printed version. So maybe they don't number the exts to keep them special.
