What a nice piece!! Love all the advertising. Had to look up sarsaparilla soda. Does the back have anything on it?

Thank you. I had to have it as a Braves collector. I also love Old Hoss's story. So it was a no brainer for me.

To see it actually scored was just a bonus. This scorecard was from DC. It was the first season of the then Washington Nationals The back is blank but shows the same type of wear and tear.

Honestly I prefer my vintage cards in the same way. A 134 year old item should look like a 134 year old item. lol. Checked all the boxes

Man oh man I love that Soto. A+ pickups up and down!

Snagged a Vlad I've wanted since release--finally found one at a reasonable price. All the BINs for this have been 3x the auction ending price since release.

I usually only pick up Trouts from 2011 back but I made an exception for this. I think I just need his 2010 MWL TP and 2012 PCL TP to complete his minor league run.

Not sure why I grabbed the Edgar except I love '88 Donruss. The Acuna is my favorite card right now. PSA 5 was an immediate buy for me.

I would be lying if I said that I picked these all up in December.. some I bought over the last couple of months and some were recent returns from BGS.

My pick (or hope) for a bounceback season. Into the pile he goes with a bunch of other Trammell rookies that will either look really good or really bad in about 6 months.

Found the Spahn, and then found the Mathews a couple days later. I think the Mathews is one of the coolest looking cards from the era. 1955 is a really fun set as it's roughly 200 cards, and aside from the Clemente and Koufax RCs, you can find some really nice stars of the day in mid grades for a relatively low price.

Found these at the same time, and decided I needed both for the Price. A nice Cubs Hall of Famer. I'll probably trade or sell one of them.

A handful of various T206 commons -- the Pattee being the most noteworthy of the bunch, as it's an earlier 1909 horizontal, which allegedly is shortprinted compared to the others. The Groom is a pretty nice looking card for that era. Sharp blue background. The Brashear would grade a lot higher if someone didn't take a little bite out of the top corner.

Addie Joss--lowest career WHIP in history, although dying of TB at the age of 31 ensures one doesn't have to worry about a backslide on the second half of a career. Only thing that irks me is that it's slightly miscut along the bottom--evidently still good enough to warrant a 5, and the back is sharply centered, but it still looks a little funny to me.

I like this guy's swing and I think he's got some potential as a toolsy high school outfielder. Still lots of time left to develop into something. If you squint this card kind of looks like Adley Rutschman's chrome autograph.

Finally, a guy I have a lot of hope for this year. With only a Bowman Chrome autograph and no parallels, I like the potential. These have all come in over the last few months but haven't gotten around to taking a picture.

keeping my raw pickups going, which is rare for me. Picked up a 3rd raw Griffey in my attempt of getting a PSA 10 on a self sub. this one is sharper than my last (no rough cut or print defect). Also wanted a Bonds and McGwire for my PC and found cheap and pretty sharp given the set they come from so figured why not. The Jeter I knew was OC, but perfectly clean/sharp otherwise and got it pretty cheap. May just flip it down the road.
